When the sky is dismal, and grey

It's these days that I know

The silence creeps up

Your soul

it makes it's way through

The darkness to you

it matches the sky..

As you are ready to give it all up.

The silence is just the opening act..

It's the sorrow.. and the guilt that eat away

At the weakened strings of your heart

But,

As I sit here,

I'm looking at my

grey and dismal sky

I think of you..

If only we could be eye to eye..

Maybe then..

you could see how I see.

In those dank and dismal clouds

I see a lady

Who is readying for her debut..

As a dancer of the sky,

That dances on the wind..

Those clouds..

They are her Sundays best

Her very best dress.

Those dreary clouds, no,

Instead it's a beautiful dress

It is silver..

It floats and expands ..

Fear not, tis only the wind. It helps her to dance

The darkness you see

Are the shadows she creates as she

Flicks and frolics Through her days.

On these dark and Dreary days

Instead of silence and sorrow

Feel humbled and hopeful,

Find your favorite dress

Dance around the room,

Paint a picture.. Anything will do

And tomorrow,

Perhaps the sun will shine..

And watch how you miss

The shady lady dressed in cloud..
