Do you know what the difference between destiny and future is? Future is an arrow shot towards you that you can dodge. But Destiny is an arrow that stabs you from behind, so you can’t escape.

Grow through life and never let anyone steal your happiness.

Kill the part of you that believes it can’t survive without someone else.

One of the risks of being quiet is that the other people can fill your silence with their own interpretation: You’re bored. You’re depressed. You’re shy. You’re stuck up. You’re judgmental. When others can’t read us, they write their own story—not always one we choose or that’s true to who we are.

Always say less than necessary.

At the very least I want the trees and the rain to listen to me.
