What if your TAV/OC was an Origin Character and they could have evil endings? What would those endings be?

Imrae has two bad endings, one evil, the other just sad.

If he is a companion, these endings are unlikely to happen if the player is generally good-ish (not joining Minthara, mainly), he has to be pushed into them, but they become very likely if the player makes him feel unsafe.

WARLORD OF THE UNDERDARK

His evil ending.

When pushed towards his abusive foster family to gain their support for the conflict ahead, he takes control and embraces his hatred against Lolth and anybody who ever hunted him, and follows in his late mother's footsteps to conquer the Underdark while shedding his love for travel and exploration.

If romanced, he might break up with the player if their relationship is "useless" to the continuation of his bloodline.

If Minthara is in the party and not romanced by the player (or romanced, but fell to low approval), she quickly allies herself with him and if both survive to the reunion party, she is visibly pregnant, though their relationship seems purely pragmatical.

SPIRIT OF THE STONE

His sad ending. His form of ascending.

The ultimate form of isolation.

When his personal quest concludes, he can be persuaded (or will decide to do so himself) to look into reclaiming his birthright, to empower himself beyond the capacity of a mortal man. He will leave the party for a few long rests and will return as an elemental version of himself.

He is much more powerful than he was before and is hinted to be immortal even if destroyed (similar to a lich, reforming sometime after), but he has become stagnant and completely emotionless.

He does not break up with a romance partner, but he only goes through the motions of what is expected of him with no feeling behind it. He's not actively abusive in any form, but he has lost the capacity to care.

If his partner breaks up with him because of this, he knows that this is supposedly sad, tragic even, but is still unfazed by it.

Imyaraen "Imrae" Auvryervs is an abjuration wizard and a sorcerer of the Deep Earth (the latter is largely suppressed while under the influence of the illithid parasite).

He's been a loner for the past sixty years, but thankfully, the circumstances of the Absolute crisis force him to get close to others again, and that is where he finds a life partner in a certain vampire...

Day 11 - Minthara

In his solo canon, Imrae decides to kill Minthara without hesitation. He immeditately recognizes the symbol on her neck and knows that there can be no survivors in the goblin camp. Even if he was considering another way, her calling him "jaluk" first thing when they meet is more than enough to know that letting her live is a bad idea.

Offering up the next edition of Madame Wispweed's society paper, in which Dalyria has become a viral sensation overnight 😏

Dearest Sleuthing Readers,

We find ourselves in the midst of a whodunnit! A devilish plant hiding amongst the splendor of a garden path. Unwitting revelers resisting the siren's call of its hypnotic orb. Poor Miss Lia taken in by its glow. Her brother, Archmage Rolan, caught in the crossfire. It was none other than an act of sabotage most foul during poor Viscount Silverbough's whimsical garden soiree.

The question remains: who was the assailant's intended target? Archmage Rolan, Lord Silverbough's reputation, or someone else entirely? Fear not, gentle folk, Madame Wispweed is on the case!

Already my sources have identified a handful of likely suspects: petty patriars with a penchant for feuds; unscrupulous scamps with ties to the hells, from whence the murderous plant originated; and lower-ranked figures who would risk besmirching their honor just to knock a social competitor down a rung.

I fear that is as detailed as I can get at present; to name names without ironclad evidence would be tantamount to slander, my dears. All shall be revealed in due time.

It is with great relief that I report Archmage Rolan has made a full recovery, however. And we all know precisely whom to thank! Miss Dalyria Szarr's name has danced across the lips of everyone in the Ton over the past few days. Some call her a savior. Others insist they saw her drinking Rolan's blood with gusto. My conclusion: Miss Dalyria is in possession of a bright mind and a quick wit, someone unafraid to take action.

We could do with a few more plucky youths like her, and dare I predict we may just get some? Overnight, Miss Szarr has become a cultural sensation among the other young lords and ladies. One cannot step foot near a public space without overhearing youngsters making a game of shouting "Damn the sensibilities!" at one other. This author has even spotted a lass or two cross-stitching the phrase over tea with friends.

If Archmage Rolan does not find her intellect a worthy match for his then I fear his standards shall preclude him from the marriage market entirely. For while Miss Jenevelle may be the beautiful diamond of the season, Miss Dalyria is the first edition rare tome.

While we are on the subject of desirous suitors, Lord Sasha Amastacia arrived on the social scene like a blooming rose in a hailstorm. Beautiful, fragile, and utterly trampled by a deluge of curious nobles plucking at his petals to the chant of "he loves me, he loves me not." Despite possessing an impressive height, one could scarcely spot him in a crowd for all that he remained flanked on all sides.

Except…when he was not. Lord Amastacia was spotted stumbling off in a daze at some point, leaving in his wake several snubbed debutantes and a bed of roses as flattened as him. A most ungentlemanly outburst! It would seem his sudden rise in station has left him lightheaded and in need of a more established gentleman to provide some ground rules in gentlemanly behavior. Whomever could be up to such an endeavor?

Apparently I have one rule : write the angstyiest things, but draw the fluffiest things...

In the happy ending AU Storm lets his hair grow again (you can tell Tav was the one to braid some of it for him here because of all the silver they put there :3), and Astarion finds the most colourful things possible to wear. He is favouring colours that contrast with Storm's for the only reason that it means people will tend to look at him instead of his lover, and that's a small way he accomodates Storm, who hates nothing more than being stared at. Unfortuately since he's often the tallest person in any given place, being gawked at happens a lot, so this is Astarion's way of helping :3

Disclaimer : I play on console AND I don't really have an eye for interesting photo composition (my partner is the one in charge of taking most of the family photos after all!), but I do love to create some images that gives me butterflies in my stomach from time to time... 🥰

I tried to capture the very moment when both lovers have already surrendered themselves to the upcoming kiss, half a second before their lips finally meet. So infinitely eager to melt into each other, but choosing instead to slowly revel in this instant of adoring devotion. ✨️

Oh please send help! I love them so ferociously, it makes me sick... 😭

COLOURS OF THE NIGHT

It is finally done! I have lost SO MUCH sleep trying to finish it in time for the convention, but it all worked out in the end :’)

(And a big, heartfelt "thank you" to my friend @amoaliquis who kindly lit the proverbial fire under my arse when I most needed it.  You truly are THE best, I hope you know that <3)

So because I spent a considerable amount of time on this piece (mainly due to skill issues lol), might as well elaborate a bit on some of the symbols I decided to use in this artwork. You can find these ramblings under the cut if you're interested ;)

And I really hope I finish it one day, because I've already written so much… and it still feels like I'm only getting started. I swear, longfics have completely ruined my sense of what *a lot of words* is

Hope over Power first, ofc

Did I mention I might be overtaken by the muses for the occasionnal post? Well. Out of a crazy coincidence, I just finished painting something to act as the cover of my longfic when I got tagged for this game ^^ I wanted to wait for the fic to be complete before sharing it, but considering my writing pace, that's way too far ahead. But anyway, that made me incapable of resisting this tag game. This took me way too long and ate half of one of my work day last week xD Finally getting around to actually posting it haha

And then I couldn't stop, and did one for The Quiet and The Storm series of Storm and Natavriel short stories.

There's a reason I put the Sussur tree there, even if I haven't written about it yet, lmao, but idealy one day I'll draw something better and more thematically appropriate for it xD The colours are very Storm coded though :3

And finally I couldn't resist making one for my upcoming pre-bg3 Bhaalist Storm short story built around his sibling relationship with Orin. A Burden of Sorrow and Strife.
