I’m glad you like them! I don’t get much feedback concerning the songs but to me personally they normally have a big part in creating the piece they’re attached to so I’m thrilled to hear you’ve been listening to them.
I’ve never posted a playlist, though I’ve been playing around with selections for a fanmix on and off for the past few months. I’m ridiculously picky about song choices for it though so that’s why it’s taking so long. One day I’m just going to fling it into the wilds and be done with it. One day.
I don’t really have a single drawing playlist* because my process is mostly to just listen to a song (or several) on repeat that fits the mood I’m feeling about the piece so everything can really end up all over the place.
For example, my current song is Kaleo’s “I Can’t Go On Without You” because it has this nice, heavy longing feeling to it that just gives me a dark magic/supernatural creature vibe which fits what I’m going for currently. (for those keeping score at home, you might be able to piece together which m7 fic I’m crossing off my to-draw-for list *finger guns*)
*the closest thing might be a selection of post-rock albums I’m all about and whatever is in my musical interlude tag
