I realized that, while I have posted parts of this project a million times before, I don't have a post that compiles the entire zine in one place. This can be done somewhat efficiently with full spreads rather than individual pages but I just never thought to do that before for some reason. So here it is again! The whole thing! This was made in 2022, a few months before the Beastclans retcon, so its overall tone isn't entirely in line with canon anymore, but that's ok. It's just pretend :)

Finally got the energy to make another gijinka, and did not plan it, but dolphin design for world oceans day, nice. Kinda fucks me up to think there's water flight players who have joined after BotE and therefore have only experienced Wavecrest post-Tidelord. Imagine moving to a new town and finding out it's the only place in the country where the mayor position has been vacant for 40 years because the last guy vanished one day and everyone's still waiting for him to get back. He may or may not be alive. He left a message hidden in his office about looking into an apocalyptic conspiracy that was only found a couple years ago and has no date so no one knows when it was written. It said everyone should Be Afraid. The mayoral parade still happens every year

some banner work I did for rockbreaker’s ceremony 2022 push over on flight rising :) the concept is an expedition into an forgotten underground city, teeming with undead and built for dragons larger than anything living in the world today! I’ll post the lore I wrote for this expedition next week, when all the daily snippets have been revealed.

A short break from the pirates - I really wanted to share Iredale, the lighthouse keeper! An animated statue of unknown origin, looking for a purpose. I really wanted to give her an odd look, as she isn't a dragon - so her gijinka isn't exactly the standard either! I looove flat faces so much
Dusthide doodles! I love their big tails and I headcanon that they are very prehensile. The same flexibility that lets them curl up into a ball also lets them curl their tails around objects to pick them up, and hatchlings can hang onto adults for a ride! I also think that their tails can flex open and closed a little bit, so they can grab objects by pinching them on the tail's underside.
