Getting further in my Japanese lessons and I have a question. So I understand that 彟 is used as a third-person pronoun for male (essentially he/him?) and 彟弳 for female (she/her?) and that 彟ă is "used for mixed gender groups" so does that basically translate to "they/them?"
Is 彟ă used for gender-neutral pronouns in Japanese? Duolingo doesn't really teach that.
No, Japanese doesnât use pronouns the same way that English does. Most native Japanese sentences omit pronouns. 彟ă is rarely used, but is strictly plural.
