Honor Blackman, aka Miss Cathy Gale of the Avengers was not only a martial arts aficionado she was a 3rd Dan black belt in traditional Jiu jitsu, showing up in the cover in 67`s Judo Illustrated.

First published in 1965 by Andre Deutsch (the Dutch title could be surmized roughly as “hands off Gentlemen”, this book is to be considered one of the first examples of self defence titles aimed at the female audience.

I’m so enthusiastic about the new TMNT cartoon!!  The animation is so dynamic, it’s been a while since I saw actions scenes so good in an american cartoon.  

The characterization of the brothers is a lot of fun, their relationship is adorable and genuine and I can’t wait to see more of their development as characters, especially considering they’re still so young and have a lot of growing up to do . And last but not least, probably my favorite point. 

“Maybe we should fight now and register our amazement later?”
