This is the prompt list for the Look Back Challenge for February 2026!

The Look Back challenge is for toy collectors of all types, aimed at showing appreciation for the things we have, instead of only showing off our latest purchase. Everyday for all of February we show our collections love by taking photos of them. See this Post if you want to know more about the Challenge and it's Rules.

Day 28: Floral

I do have some awesome pictures of my dolls among the violets, but I'm planning a new shoot this year and those old pics will be showcased soon.

So here's a sweet little series I did in my front yard.

Chartreuse and Spool, Flower Fairies!

I couldn't decide on a favorite version of this one, so I chose both. please click these, tumblr has butchered the quality. I wanted to do this photoshoot outside originally, but my schedule and the weather have not been cooperative, so I settled for scarves as the background instead of grass. added a lot of nice color, at least. the first time I took these, I accidentally left his wig cap visible somehow, so I had to set things up all over again, but the second set came out better anyway.

I had a lot of fun this month doing daily prompts, and it was nice to reach into the depths of my blog archives to find pics of everyone in the past. Hopefully you'll all forgive me for no longer posting daily after this, but I'll try to at least be more frequent than like, once a month like I have been for a while.

This is my pic for Day 28 “floral” for @look-back-month-challenge. Too early in the season for real flowers so have my fav pony series instead!

Day 27: Exciting

Icky the Bat isy travel buddy. He's been all over with me.

And here we are at the happiest place on earth; Gatorland in Orlando, Florida.

I think that's plenty exciting.

28. Floral

Look Back Month Challenge, Day 28 - Floral

Ending the month on a high note with 1995 Spring Blossom Barbie, the best thing I have ever found at a garage sale.

What better way to end the month than with some of my moddie AG girls in floral dresses? The Addy is a rewig project from years back (I have another rewigged silver eye Addy with braids behind her, but she's not floral) and the #4 was another treasured FB Marketplace pickup.

Day twenty eight: floral

The two pairs of eyes that I made for the hybrid doll I posted yesterday. Partially made; the white plastic bases came with an eye order I made years and years ago. The irises are many many layers of UV resin with tiny dots of various acrylic paints.

Ending Look Back month by starting to look forward - here's Celestine, a massive doll project I started last year. I bought this doll last year to commemorate surviving a difficult event, and also to celebrate making it so far afterwards (it was many years ago), as a way to look forward and keep growing. And of course, I also bought her because she's my grail doll.

Day 28 - Floral

For some reason this specific green fabric always springs to mind when I think of florals. I've made a lot from it over the years but mostly I remember these pants and dress circa 2015.

I love dolls and flowers, so here are some of my dolls with plants photos from years past. Eventually this winter will end, and it will be spring again. Choose your fighter -- I mean, flower ⬇️

Kenzo was going for a quiet walk on the beach when he encountered Jazzie baby-sitting Abi, Theo, and Allison. He's debating whether to offer to help. Everyone except Theo is wearing a floral print for the final prompt of @look-back-month-challenge.

Kenzo is Cactus Cooler Ken. Jazzie is Teen Looks Swimsuit Jazzie. Abi is my second Evi Love, bought for her articulated knees and costing 27 cents. Theo is the baby from a Steffi Love set. Allison is the Kid Kore baby, who hit the market before Barbie's little sister Kristy.

Thus ends Look Back Month! It's rare that I fully complete a month-long challenge of any sort, but here we are. My collection is so small that, with this little quintet, you've seen everyone who was acquired before October 2025.
