grover, watching percy and annabeth play with estelle: so like… hypothetically, i wonder what you two would be like as parents?
annabeth: that is not gonna happen for a long time, grover
grover: well yeah, obviously. you guys are too young
percy: when have we ever lived age appropriate lives? no, the issue is that i’m poor. i can’t afford the damn thing
annabeth, trying not to laugh: well, and because we want to live normal lives as college students for once
percy: and because i have no money
annabeth: it would really stress out sally and paul
percy: because they also have no money
annabeth: and it’s just not the life we want for our future kids right now
percy: because we would be homeless
AROACE DREW & PERCY!!!!!! percy still has his close psuedo sibling bond with cabin ten but he just doesn't fully get the whole romance thing. like they gush about it and he's just like. no never felt that. weird. and drew clocks his ass and is like. thank the fucking gods. someone i can talk to who doesn't center romance. like she loves her siblings and they do talk about all manner of love, but by the gods do they center romance above all. drew and percy friendship my beloved
yesss
cabin 10 talking romance and percys sitting there like 'this is soooo boriiinngg' then sees drew and they make eye contact and theyre like 'you. you get it'
always a fan of percy reflexively using christian exclamations because. he goes to american public school. so like he gets a little exasperated and mutters “jesus christ…” before shaking his head and going “wrong pantheon. i don’t want their attention.”

luke and percys physical appearances in the show being swapped does a disservice to their characters
luke is from fucking conneticut, heavily implied to be white (no skin tone is mentioned but he has 'sandy-blond' hair and blue eyes which is most common in white people). we dont get mention of what his house or tax bracket is, but considering how he acts i think its safe to assume he grew up at least comfortable. theres never any mention of school or friends, but theres also no mention of him being mistreated anywhere in his life aside from the mythological world. the worst things thatve happened to luke is his mom getting cursed, thalias death, and his quest. id say those are the main driving points for why hes the way he is. since we get no mention of any mistreatment aside from his mom before the mythological world, i think its safe to say that living at a place like camp where the gods are the way are they are is an extreme change, he went from living a somewhat normal life (before may was cursed) to being ignored by the beings who were supposed to help and care for them, and everyone acted like that was normal. with all that, he focus more on the direct treatment from the gods, and not any intent behind it. he doesnt try to think about why hermes tried to get may to be the oracle, he doesnt think about why zeus mightve turned thalia into a tree, he doesnt try to think about anything about the action aside from the actual action itself, which ended up leading him to kronos. people who grew up privileged often have thoughts similar to that, seeing more the action itself and not the thoughts behind it (judging people for posting about doing charity when the videos help them do charity is somewhat of an example that comes to mind), and that can lead them down not so good pipelines, like becoming republican. or, like joining kronos. luke was easily manipulated by him because he couldnt really see the thought process behind the actions, and kronos took that and used it easily, saying he could fix all of it. weaponizing lukes narrow vision and kronos, in the books, didnt outright treat luke that bad. we dont see or get any hints of him tormenting him, all we know is that hes manipulating luke- manipulation is often shown as being *nice* on the outside, with cruel intentions beneath. again, luke only sees the action, not the thoughts behind it. him being white is also a good bit important to his story because again hes *privileged.* he was never discriminated against for looking a specific way- in fact him looking the way he does *helped him*, it made people see him as more trustworthy, more gentle, it let him manipulate others (silena) easier and get off the hook more. in the sea of monsters percy, and annabeth im pretty sure, are convinced luke (or kronos' army in general) are the ones who poisoned the tree, but no one actually believes them until percy gets *live video proof of luke himself confessing.* hes seen as the 'perfect boy', blond, blue eyes, privileged backstory, but still with enough 'angst' to make people empathize and care for and about him and what hes doing
percy on the other hand, is implied to not be white. he grew up in a place commonly known as spanish harlem, he was seen as a troublemaker everywhere he went, people belittled him constantly, the entire country thought this 12 year old was a terrorist- stuff like that doesnt often happen to white boys. and where luke grew up not being mistreated, percy was abused every day he was at home, physcially, financially, emotionally, and was bullied and put down by teachers and peers when he was at school. percy grew up being mistreated, and so when it happens hes able to see past it because its more normal to him- which lets him see the thoughts behind the actions, he hears about thalias sacrifice and he listens to why zeus did that, he listens when hermes tells him about what happened to may and he listens to why that happened. it isnt just things percys outright told, hes able to understand them and come to the conclusion by himself, annabeths relationship with her family and why she doesnt want to go back, clarisses' aggression towards other camps and how it relates to ares, among other things. percy in general is also a very analytical person, hes able to read between the lines, social cues and hierarchies, all pretty well, which lets him see the reasoning behind the action better, while luke isnt as good at doing that. percy is still angry though, hes grown up angry, hes fought back angry, hes never taken the mistreatment towards himself (or others) too lightly, and that doesnt disappear when he learns about the greek gods- it actually gets more extreme and obvious. so with percy being able to see the reasoning behind the actions and being empathetic enough to take them into account, but also still keeping the anger hes had towards mistreatments, hes able to see and understand both sides pretty well, and still see that the gods are the better option
anyways i love headcanons where percy is just. an absolute New York stereotypical skater kid emphasis on stereotypical. like yes he spent most of his time at private boarding schools and yes he was only in New York in the summer and yes he's a mama's boy so he would never (intentionally) commit any type of crime but also. he knows how to pickpocket because his neighbor taught him when he was eight. the local police chief knows him personally even though he's never actually been jailed for anything because "why are you always on the scene when something happens?". he figured out how to pick locks on WikiHow when he was 11 so that if Gabe locked him out and forgot to let him back in he could do it himself. when he said in book 1 that he sold 'candy' to rich kids at his private school for cash, what he really meant was that he picked random plants in the schoolyard and told people they were weed and got money for it until someone realized the weirdo from dorm 1 was scamming everyone with dandelions,
he's a legend at the skatepark because he has zero self preservation and so on a given day you can see him doing the most insane death-defying stunts ever and all the local parents are scared he's going to crack his head on the concrete someday and give their kids ptsd. piper "annabeth you didn't tell me he's a skater kid ;-;" mclean absolutely teases him for all the above 24/7, send tweet
the amount of fics about percy and nicos friendship revolving around the fact that percy needs to apologize to nico and nico being gracious enough to eventually accept his apology makes me want to scream because i have never seen a worse take and yet it seems to be the most popular
EXACTLY
And now I want a fic where Percy blaming himself for everything at once comes to Nico to apologise but Nico is like ??? What is happening are you okay ??? I'm here to talk about it if you need me but I'm not mad at you for anything, not anymore, it's been YEARS since I was. And uhh... maybe I owe you an apology or two as well if we're coming clean here
people are severely misunderstanding why percy didnt side with luke/kronos.
no, it wasnt because poseidon claimed him. no, it wasnt because sally raised him. no, it wasnt because he was at camp for less time. no, it wasnt [whatever else people say]
the reason percy didnt join luke is because KRONOS FUCKING SUCKS. HES GOING TO HURT PEOPLE. NOT JUST PEOPLE PERCY CARES ABOUT, MOST FUCKING PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. HE DROVE SOMEONE INSANE WHO WAS ON HIS OWN SIDE. percy would never join kronos because hes not just the worse option- its because hes going to hurt so many more people than the gods would!
also percy is so empathetic, even if he doesnt care about someone hes still going to try and make sure theyre okay. (see: ethan in botl, the demigod he told to get off the ship when they were blowing up the princess andromeda in tlo) he cares about people. not just specific people in his life, people as a whole. we see it in how much he loves new york city too and how his worst nightmare is camp being destroyed. not sally specifically dying, not annabeth specifically dying, his community dying. he doesnt care about one specific person (unlike luke who id argue his main reason for turning is because of thalias fate), he cares about people as a whole. im thinking of the deleted scene in tlo where theyre moving the unconscious mortals out of the way and he runs into nancy, he considers messing with her- then doesnt. because it was never just about a single specific person. if it was, then hed only care about annabeth. if it was, then hed mess with nancy. but its not. its about people as a whole. and if kronos wins, then so many more people get hurt.
sallys not the reason he didnt side with kronos, luke not having enough time to convince him isnt why he didnt side with kronos, poseidon claiming him early isnt why he sided with kronos, it was percy being a genuinely kind person that cares about the people and world around him that made him not side with kronos.
like. im sorry- do you actually think that if one thing was changed and percy did join kronos, that hed actually hurt people? that he would sit by and let people on his team hurt others? poison camp and put hundreds of demigods at risk? sacrifice someone on his own team for exploration? can you actually genuinely imagine percy jackson sitting by and letting the side hes on go around hurting people? because anytime i think of him being on kronos' side, it ends with him seeing how many people theyre hurting, and leaving. he knows the damage thatll happen to the world and the people in the world if the gods are destroyed and kronos rises, and you think that because his father claimed him thats the only thing stopping him? that sally raising him is the only thing stopping him (she is a big part in why hes so empathetic, but a good amount of that is also his own doing). that not being around camp/the gods for a less amount of time and not seeing the pain thats caused is the reason he didnt join kronos? again, kronos would do more harm.
percy would never intentionally be the reason anyone would get hurt. he hated luke but he mourned him when he died. he went out of his way to try and not hurt demigods that were trying to kill him.
the main time hes ever intentionally caused someone actual harm was when ethan stabbed annabeth, and when percy was in life or death, fight or flight and high off adrenaline. no fucking shit he lost his mind. IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING WAR. no ones gonna act rationally.
anyway there is no world in where percy would willingly join kronos because he has always put people before himself and knows when something will lead to a better or worse outcome, and kronos is the worst outcome in this situation.
(Abt the albino Jason Grace headcanon‼️⤵️)
I think this is really awesome, especially the black albino Jason Grace portrayals I’ve come across. Putting this aside for a moment, we NEED to acknowledge albinism comes with permanent vision impairment, severe sun sensitivity and many other factors that i feel like people fail to consider when applying this headcanon to fan works. This disability requires lifelong eye care and stringent sun protection to prevent skin cancer, which wouldn’t be constantly available to demigods (and people in general, of course); when we think about Jason’s upbringing, not ONLY at the wolf house, but with his mother and sister, it is something that needs attention and a well done portrayal in fan work. I also don’t think it is a good idea to suggest some sort of magical demigod aid to “solve” these impairments IF they get recognized in fan works: it’s a form of disability erasure, I’ve seen this “trope” be utilized a bunch, not only in PJO fan works. Albinism shouldn’t be treated as this merely esthetic quirk.
Additionally, it’s not my place to say this, as i don’t have albinism, though hearing my albino friend share some of her experiences made me more aware of how this condition is often overlooked and misrepresented. That said, i think the headcanon has a lot of potential within accurate, respectful writing//creative work in general .
(PSA, im not trying to police fanworks or anything. This is a constructive critique.

Goodnight ⭐
i like percy x annabeth because despite what people assume. this is not dumb x smart or powerful x normal or something like that. they're both actually pretty similar. both very strategic, impulsive etc.
the difference between them is annabeth's plans are wild because she has absolute confidence they will work. percy's plans are wild because he has zero confidence that anything else will work. fundamental difference, says a lot about both of them, thank you hit post
omg YES
both of them have moments in the book where they go, "??? wtf are they doing???" at each other and one thing, among many other things, that i'm sad that hoo didn't show us was just how used to the two would have gotten with the each other's seemingly harebrained schemes. despite having different thoughts processes, they can still reasonably conclude what the other person is thinking of and why and move accordingly. a unit.
i tried to be funny and it backfired miserably
it’s 2014 it’s time we moved on as a nation and stop reblogging this
every person who reblogs this in 2015 is gonna get their ass kicked by yours truly
Biggest mistake I think Rick made writing the Seven-Plus-Two:
- Reyna: I love aroace representation but for Reyna it smells like a retcon where Rick slapped on the label to score woke points but didn't actually intend her character to be that way. She had a crush on Jason, and Percy, and in the same book where she says she's ace she also says she doesn't want to risk her friendship with Thalia. You could explore how maybe Reyna had a lot of respect for those people and an allonormative society made her think what she felt was a crush, but is that what happened?
- Nico: My knee jerk reaction is the toxic aspects of Solangelo, but I think the biggest issue is Nico's character basically getting reset between PJO and HoO. By the end of PJO, he's reconciled with Percy, made peace with Bianca, and Percy is making a concerted effort for Hades kids to be more accepted at camp alongside the children of the minor gods. At the beginning of HoO, Percy and Nico aren't close at all, Nico revived Hazel because he couldn't bring back Bianca, and he feels unwelcome at CHB.
- Frank: Having his body type get magically changed and having that be framed as a good thing. I can absolutely see Mars/Ares doing this to him as a reward, but the narrative frames Frank being fat as a problem that needs to be fixed or a weakness that needs to be overcome. I'd love to see something about Frank feeling conflicted about his new body because it's a gift from his dad and everybody seems to subconsciously respect him more, but it's not HIS body.
- Hazel: Hazel is only from the 1930s when she's having flashbacks to the 1930s. Nico at least has the excuse of being memory wiped and living in the casino, but Hazel's POV doesn't reflect her background in the modern era in a serious way. He certainly could have written Hazel worse, but ultimately being born in the 30s feels like a fun piece of trivia and not a core aspect of her character.
- Piper: Rick cannot decide how he wants Piper's relationship to femininity to be problematic. Is she a tough tomboy who's better than her sisters because she doesn't wear makeup? Or is she another Aphrodite girl who's focused on her boyfriend and didn't want to learn how to fight until she was already in the Mediterranean? You can see how neither option is great, right? Also, shout-out to charmspeak for being the most inconsistent and lazily written deus-ex-machina in the riordanverse.
- Leo: On the surface, Caleo, but I think the root of the issue is him being the PG-13 version of the Latin Lover stereotype. Maybe if it was approached as Leo feeling insecure in his masculinity because he's significantly scrawnier than the other boys in The Seven so he compensates for his insecurities with these loud displays of flirtatiousness to assert his manhood, and the solution was Leo becoming more confident on his own rather than desiring validation from having a girlfriend. But instead it's just "ha ha, Leo flirts with everyone until they yell at him and the solution is for him to date a titaness."
- Jason: I think the biggest problem with Jason, and why so many people say he's bland and boring, is because he's supposed to be the Roman equivalent of Percy at the beginning of HoO. We've had 5+ books of development for Percy, Jason gets like, a few paragraphs. But the narrative treats them as equals, and maybe in-universe they are, but to the reader, no way we treat Jason and Percy the same. Of course we think Percy's childhood with Sally and Gabe is more interesting and impactful than Jason being raised by Lupa, we saw Percy but were told about Jason. Of course we care more about Hyperion than Krios, we saw Hyperion. There's lots of other issues with Jason, but I think the biggest is expecting him to be treated the same as a character who has so much more previous content than him.
- Annabeth: She has some significant personality changes between PJO and HoO. I think the biggest one is that PJO Annabeth likes, respects, and trusts Percy. They have their arguments and disagreements, but Annabeth follows him into battle, is willing to take a knife for him, and shows no signs of being afraid OF him when he does things like blow up a volcano, knock down a suspension bridge, or battle Hyperion one on one. In HoO she joins in with everyone else in making "dumb Percy" jokes and has the "some things aren't meant to be controlled" thing. There are other changes, too, but I think that is the one that has done the most damage.
- Percy: At the end of PJO, Percy passes up on godhood and makes the gods promise to be better. Hermes straight up asks Perxy if he really thinks the gods can change, and Percy says yes. And every book after that has proved Percy wrong. Every demigod left ignorant and vulnerable like Leo and Piper, every callous disruption of someone's life by giving them amnesia and a 6 month coma, every child who dies fighting their parent's battles proves that Percy was wrong and that all the suffering he and the other campers went through was for nothing. The gods can't change and Percy would have done more good if he had ascended and focused on being "one of the good ones" rather than trusting the gods. Of course, Percy wouldn't do that because it goes against everything he is, but still. With every book, Rick retcons The Last Olympian into a tragedy.
Thinking about how I want the gods in PJO to be more complicated part 2: Hera.
My core change would be: stop having her care about an idealized perfect family. She's been cheated on for millenia. 1 in 3 Olympians are bastards. Her father literally ate her. She's married to her brother for fuck's sake. Hera ain't no dummy, she knows her family is weird beyond belief.
Instead, have her primary motivation be keeping that weird-ass family together at all costs, because someone has to. She'll still punish her husband's bastards because stopping now would be admitting defeat (or worse, that she was wrong to do so in the first place) but it's strictly business. It doesn't even mess with the main plot beats, she'd still help out in BotL and she'd still be willing to kidnap Percy, but she'd probably be apologetic about it at least. But she immediately clocks Nico's dad and is like "Oh perfect! A way to get my eldest brother out of the underworld more often!"
And if you need her to have antagonism with Annabeth, you can have Hera encourage her to give up on Percy and have Annabeth take offense. From Annabeth's perspective, she already feels insecure with Rachel and feels like Hera is saying she isn't good enough. But Hera just doesn't want the risk of a bad Percabeth breakup triggering a war between Poseidon and Athena.
Ultimately, I would have Hera still be proud and arrogant, often to her own detriment, and see demigods as lesser, but she still cares in her own way. She has her family, but it's not a family of equals.

The Egyptian pantheon- We don't have prophecies per say, but we have people who can see into the future, which are also super rare.
The Norse pantheon- We have like one prophecy and everyone is trying to make sure that it reaches to a satisfying conclusion.
The Greek and Roman pantheons- That's the 4th fucking prophecy today for Gods' sake.
As part of me pushing the bisexual Percy Jackson agenda, here is a list of people (both male and female), whom Percy has canonically
described as attractive or beautiful (often multiple times)
pointed out as being particularly muscular or ripped in his narration (something he does quite a lot especially towards male characters)
or had a crush on
Annabeth:
I found myself staring at her, which was stupid since I'd seen her a billion times. She and I were about the same height this summer, which was a relief. Still, she seemed so much more mature. It was kind of intimidating. I mean, sure, she'd always been cute, but she was starting to be seriously beautiful (The Last Olympian, chapter 4)
She’d tied her blonde hair back with a strip of denim torn from her jeans, and in the fiery light of the river her grey eyes flickered. Despite being beat-up, sooty and dressed like a homeless person, she looked great to Percy. (House of Hades, Chapter 13, Percy)
Rachel:
Her green eyes were bright with fear. She had a sprinkle of freckles on her face that reminded me of constellations. (Battle of the Labyrinth, Chapter 1)
Rachel's red hair was pulled back in a ponytail and she wore a white blouse over her swimsuit. I'd never seen her in anything but ratty T-shirts and paint splattered jeans before, and she looked like a million golden drachmas. .(The last Olympian, chapter 1)
I could tell something was bothering her, but she put on a brave smile. The sunlight made her hair look like fire.(The last Olympian, chapter 1)
Calypso:
I brought my eyes back to earth. However amazing the stars were, Calypso was twice as brilliant. I mean, I’ve seen the goddess of love herself, Aphrodite, and I would never say this out loud or she’d blast me to ashes, but for my money, Calypso was a lot more beautiful, because she just seemed so natural, like she wasn’t trying to be beautiful and didn’t even care about that. She just was. With her braided hair and white dress, she seemed to glow in the moonlight. (Battle of the labyrinth, chapter 12)
Marie Levesque:
‘Is that your mother?’ Percy pointed to the photo of Queen Marie. ‘She looks like you. She’s beautiful.’ (The Son of Neptune, Chapter 42, Hazel)
Random actress he had a crush on:
When she smiled at me, just for a moment she looked a little like Annabeth. Then like this television actress I used to have a crush on in fifth grade. Then… well, you get the idea. (Titan’s Curse, Chapter 13)
Aphrodite (of course):
When I saw her, my jaw dropped. I forgot my name. I forgot where I was. I forgot how to speak in complete sentences. She was wearing a red satin dress and her hair was curled in a cascade of ringlets. Her face was the most beautiful I'd ever seen: perfect makeup, dazzling eyes, a smile that would've lit up the dark side of the moon. Thinking back on it, I can't tell you who she looked like. Or even what color her hair or her eyes were. Pick the most beautiful actress you can think of. The goddess was ten times more beautiful than that. (Titan’s Curse, Chapter 13)
"Do you know why you're here?" she asked. I wanted to respond. Why couldn't I form a complete sentence? She was only a lady. A seriously beautiful lady. With eyes like pools of spring water… (Titan’s Curse, Chapter 13)
Luke:
The guy was about nineteen, and he looked pretty cool. He was tall and muscular, with short-cropped sandy hair and a friendly smile. (The lightning Thief, chapter 6)
He’d changed since the last summer. Instead of Bermuda shorts and a T shirt, he wore a button-down shirt, khaki pants, and leather loafers. His sandy hair, which used to be so unruly, was now clipped short. He looked like an evil male model, showing off what the fashionable college-age villain was wearing to Harvard this year. (Sea of Monsters, chapter 9)
Beckendorf:
Beckendorf was head counselor for Hephaestus. He was this huge dude with a permanent scowl, muscles like a pro ballplayer, and hands calloused from working in the forges. (The Demigod Files: The Bronze Dragon)
Charles Beckendorf, senior counselor for the Hephaestus cabin, would make most monsters cry for their mommies. He was huge, with ripped muscles from working on the forges every summer, two years older than me, and one of the camp's best armor smiths. (The Last Olympian, Chapter 1)
Ares:
The guy on the bike would’ve made pro wrestlers run for Mama. He was dressed in a red muscle shirt and black jeans and a black leather duster, with a hunting knife strapped to his thigh. He wore red wraparound shades, and he had the cruelest, most brutal face I’d ever seen- handsome, I guess, but wicked-with an oily black crew cut and cheeks that were scarred from many, many fights. (The Lightning Thief, chapter 15)
Thanatos:
Hazel reminded herself to breathe. Beautiful was the right word for Thanatos – not handsome, or hot, or anything like that. He was beautiful the way an angel is beautiful – timeless, perfect, remote. ‘Oh,’ she said in a small voice. It’s Cupid,’ Frank said. ‘A really buff Cupid,’ Percy agreed. (Son of Neptune, chapter 44, Hazel)
Koios (the maternal grandfather of Apollo and Artemis):
A titan strode towards them, casually kicking lesser monsters out of his way. (…)His eyes were blue-white, like core samples from a glacier and just as cold. His hair was the same colour, cut military style.(…) Despite his battle scars, the Titan’s face was handsome and strangely familiar. Percy was pretty sure he’d never seen the guy before, but his eyes and his smile reminded Percy of someone … (House of Hades, Chapter 61, Percy)
Apollo:
The driver got out, smiling. He looked about seventeen or eighteen, and for a second, I had the uneasy feeling it was Luke, my old enemy. This guy had the same sandy hair and outdoorsy good looks. But it wasn't Luke. This guy was taller, with no scar on his face like Luke's. His smile was brighter and more playful. (Titan’s Curse, Chapter 4)
Gods can look like anything they want, but Apollo always seemed to go for that I-just-auditioned-for-a-boy-band-look. Today he was rocking pencil-thin jeans, a skintight white T-shirt and gilded Ray Ban sunglasses. (Singer of Apollo)
Despite his battle scars, the Titan’s face was handsome and strangely familiar. Percy was pretty sure he’d never seen the guy before, but his eyes and his smile reminded Percy of someone ( …) He remembered the name Leto: the mother of Apollo and Artemis. This guy Koios looked vaguely familiar because he had Artemis’s cold eyes and Apollo’s smile. (House of Hades, Chapter 61, Percy)
Ganymede:
The guy in front of me looked like he was about twenty. He had short-cropped black hair, large brown eyes and coppery skin. He was dressed in ripped jeans, a skintight black tee, and various bits of gold: rings, earrings, necklace, nose ring, wrist bangles. Even the laces of his boots glittered gold. He looked like he’d just stepped out of an ad fro some Madison Avenue Boutique. (Chalice of the gods, chapter 4)
Ganymede scowled. For the first time, I saw godly anger glowing in his eyes- a sign that this guy had more to him than just good looks and bling. (Chalice of the gods, chapter 5)
If I had a nickle for everytime Percy explicitly describes the skintight t-shirt of male characters, I'd have three nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened three times.
I believe there's also Artemis:
She had auburn hair gathered back in a ponytail and strange eyes, silvery yellow like the moon. Her face was so beautiful it made me catch my breath, but her expression was stern and dangerous. ‘The hunting of all wild beasts is within my sphere. And you, foul creature, are a wild beast.’ She looked at the older girl with the circlet. ‘Zoë, permission granted.’
(I remember this because of a tiny bit later in the book.
Aphrodite rolled her eyes. ‘Oh, Artemis. Please. Talk about a hopeless case. I mean, if they were going to kidnap a goddess, she should be breathtakingly beautiful, don’t you think? I pity the poor dears who have to imprison Artemis. Bo-ring!’
It's funny because Artemis literally was breathtakingly beautiful to Percy)
There's also lowkey Hades:
He was at least three metres tall, for one thing, and dressed in black silk robes and a crown of braided gold. His skin was albino white, his hair shoulder-length and jet black. He wasn’t bulked up like Ares, but he radiated power. He lounged on his throne of fused human bones, looking lithe, graceful and dangerous as a panther. I immediately felt like he should be giving the orders. He knew more than I did. He should be my master. Then I told myself to snap out of it.
It's not explicit but 'lithe, graceful and dangerous as a panther' could totally be a description in a fic.
There's also Zeus and Annabeth's dad, if 'handsome' as a descriptor is enough:
Zeus, the Lord of the Gods, wore a dark blue, pinstriped suit. He sat on a simple throne of solid platinum. He had a well-trimmed beard, marbled grey and black like a storm cloud. His face was proud and handsome and grim, his eyes rainy grey. As I got nearer to him, the air crackled and smelled of ozone.
He took off his cap and goggles. He had sandy-coloured hair like Annabeth and intense brown eyes. He was handsome, I guess, for an older guy, but it looked like he hadn’t shaved in a couple of days, and his shirt was buttoned wrong, so one side of his collar stuck up higher than the other side.
Honestly the second one is pretty interesting because unlike everyone else, Frederick's handsomeness isn't obvious, but Percy still notices it.
