Mother Mary, mild and lowly, you who said yes when the world yelled and trembled with fear, wrap your mantle around the smallest ones the babies who were never cuddled, names never to be spoken out loud. Never given time.

Hold them close in your heart. the way you held Jesus, now protect them where no harm can reach them.

Where love is the air they breathe. We call upon You to pray for the mothers too, the fearful, the pressured, the hurting, the quiet grievers. Wrap them with mercy, rather than shame.

Teach us to love more. how to protect life with compassion and courage. Mother of Life,

pray for us, who are still struggling. still learning to speak the truth with kindness

but stand firm in any case. Keep the innocent in God's light, safe. and remind us to never forget

discriminating against your child or bullying them for their beliefs, isn't cool or funny.

next year i’m upping my activism. like actually actually. online and offline. i’m done being quiet or “waiting until it’s more convenient.” there is no convenient time to stand up for human lives.

yeah, i’m a pro-lifer. i believe unborn babies are human beings and they deserve protection and love. and i know that saying that on the internet can get you dogpiled in 0.2 seconds but honestly? i’m not here for comfort, i’m here for conviction.

i genuinely cannot wait for what next year holds. even though i'm in hospital: i genuinely believe this is my calling. i can't justify NOT doing this.

christmas is a pro-life story and i don['t think people talk about that enough.

it begins with a teenage girl. mary was neither rich nor influential.

she was young, she was terrified, and then the unexpected pregnancy turned her whole life around. by today’s standards, people would tell her it’s not the right time you're too young

this will ruin your future

but the christmas story does not begin with convenience. it begins with courage. jesus does not arrive in a big fancy castle or when everything is perfect.

he arrives small.

fragile.

unknown. there was no place for him.

literally. but still, his existence was important.

christmas reminds us that human worth does not depend on age, size, ability, or circumstances of conception. it also reminds us that "life starts in a humble way" and all lives are worth saving. the saviour of the world

that includes close friends and family.

i blocked my aunties, my cousins, and my ex best friend.

not because i hate them

but because they were impacting me and my recovery.

they were being unhelpful to me.

they were stopping me from being happy.

and that's okay.

they called it a choice, but never mentioned how often choices are made in fear.

they said it was empowering, but didn’t ask who benefits when someone feels cornered.

they spoke loudly about freedom, and quietly about consequences.

they said “it’s just tissue,” while avoiding the word becoming.

they taught slogans, not silence, not grief, not questions that linger.

they promised relief, but never promised peace.

they framed it as progress, without counting who was left behind.

they said caring about unborn life was backwards, but never explained why compassion should have an expiration date.

they told us it was simple, in a world where nothing about life ever is.
