Logan is dumber and much more violent than his film counterpart. He still quietly questions the system but isn’t comfortable voicing or acting on those questions without proper prodding.

That said he would be considered a bit 'deviant' in the Domes. He's a frequent patron of 'Feelies' and did use his resources to identify he had a son Logan 6. Wanting to know who your children are and form relationships with them is considered very odd.

So here's where I go really off the rails- Jessica. I genuinely like Jenny Agutter's performance and feel like she elevates what's otherwise a fairly thin character. But for headcanon purposes my Jessica is older than he is- a 'Feelie' and a member of a resistance movement who protests the dying on your thirtieth. (Logan is 24 while Jessica is 29) Members of the resistance wear white to protest the color coding that comes with the crystals.

Jessica also grew up in 'Cathedral' which is where children who are too unruly, smart or question things. As such she learned to survive fairly young.

His feelings for Jessica are fairly possessive and part of his arc is learning to let go of that or at least learning to better handle that.

Instead of the old man they meet a tribe of mutants. The tribe also includes Ballard 4 who also fled from the domes years before. While initially wary of Logan especially the tribe welcomes them with Jessica choosing to follow them when it’s time for them to move on. Logan returns to the domes to rescue his son not wanting him to grow up in the same unfeeling environment he did.
