Here’s just a couple of great easy and cheap skincare tips. None of those expensive ph balancing creams do anything (in my experience) just do this and you’ll b glowing day 1.

1. Use fresh alovera gel.

Ohhhhhh boi, this will change your existence. If you’re not doing this you should be. Do this routine daily for two weeks, then every other day for a week, then once a week for a month or whenever you’re going out. It softens the skin, reduces blemishes, dark marks, redness.

You can get the plant from any local market, I get mine for around £7/8 (around $12), but you can get it on amazon prime for a little more.

Get the plant, chop a leaf off. Cut it into chunks and leave it in cool water for 30mins to drain the yellowish liquid. Once you’re done slice it open and scoop out the gel and voila! Your skin is saved you’re welcome. Apply the gel and wash off after 5-15 mins.

8/10 effectiveness, worked almost instantly.

2. Drink water.

Duhhhh. But drink a glass in the morning instead of coffee. For that matter stop drinking coffee all together. If you must drink something hot, green or black (loose leaf is preferable) tea. Tea, no milk is perfect. Stop drinking milk hon. Get your dairy some other way.

9/10 game changer if you stick to it

3. Stop using scrubs

They just strip natural oils away. Only use scrubs to remove particularly stubborn make up. Moisturise as necessary afterwards.

6/10 I never saw any improvement in my own skin with scrubs. Stopping using them made my skin feel bad for a bit but then my oils balanced out and my skin didn’t feel so dry.

That being said...

4. Don’t use (harsh) make up removers.

Don’t scrub your face too hard when removing make up. Take a shower or use coconut oil.

7/10 best way to remove make up is a shower but it’s just not feasible all the time, sometimes you just want to crash. Coconut oil is there for you those times.

5. Use coconut oil in your daily routine.

Yeah it deserves the hype. Just do it. Twice a day. It can be quite pricey, the one I use is £15 for a small bottle, but I’m sure you can find it cheaper. Just make sure it’s the pure natural 100% stuff.

8/10 sexy dewy skin in a week. Keep up with it.

6. Sleep a full 8-10 hours.

It’s self explanatory.

7/10 the first few days are rough but it becomes a solid 10/10 once you have a good routine.

7. Take cooler showers.

I’m guilty of taking boiling showers but it strips natural oils away. Just ease up on them if you can’t do without.

5/10 eh I like hot showers.

8. Bio oil.

It’s really a miracle. It works wonders on stretch marks, burns and discolouration. It’s also pretty cheap at £6 for a bottle in Primark. The biggest problem is that it has a TON of chemicals in it.

Recently it started drying out my palms and I’ve seen little irritating bumps where it’s been applied. After I completely stopped using it it cleared up. Use at your own risk but do check and see if you’re allergic to any of the products.

9/10 at first 3/10 when the reaction started

Tbh I don’t want money (well I do but as an addition🤑) the real goal is power uno. I want the world and I’m going to take it this 2019. It’s really time to speak it into existence! Powerful women only!

Especially yall in the UK, we don’t have stud or dud over here ( if there’s something similar lemmie know ) and background checks are expensive. Which is why if a guy disrespects you, swears, or is sexually agressive without your consent, put him on blast.

Find employers, family, friends etc and let them know his true colours. Never dox but definitely post pictures on here. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve avoided a demon, by quickly checking on the sb uk blacklist tumblr (I’m not sure the exact url but I’ll post it soon).

No more of this covering the photos of verbally absusive men. No more pretending all our experiences are perfect. Protecting these men means putting SW in danger.
