You know what I liked about egghead was the fact that it’s a science island and the MVPs of that arc were Franky, Sanji and Kuma as well as Bonney. All of them had some sort of connection to science both the good (Franky who kept his heart despite his cyborg enhancements. He chose to modify his body)

the germa kingdom is basically made up of clones.. of who you may ask. The people of whom the Vinsmokes conquered and killed more specifically the kingdoms. They body harvest cells tissues whatever you name it and replicate it. I don’t even wanna know how they get human egg cells. And it doesn’t help that those lineage factors (one piece DNA) can be manipulated into modified humans. So yeah the kingdom is made up of the faces of dead people who do not know their previous “parent” but rather only know to obey the Vinsmokes or more specifically Judge.

Yeah! I made a post a while back joking about how Oda intentionally writes Sanji in a way that causes characters to underestimate him and some readers end up actually underestimating him lol. Something about falling for the facade you’re meant to deconstruct 🤣 I actually love how Sanji is written to be the “invisible wing” of Luffy and this is further solidified with Gaban’s recent introduction.

I didn’t know about the editorial side of the rooftop fight lmao. It is a really good fight scene although I spent the whole time wondering how that roof managed to not cave in.

I always see Zoro and Sanji having both intended as well as unintended parallels and opposites.

And it's quite interesting when Zoro is the wing with gradually increasing noteriety (pirate hunter, ex bounty hunter, pirate, worst gen + plus his parallel with Rayleigh who is still well known and makes himself known time and again) vs sanji whose theme is eventually fading into obscurity (wanting to disappear, the clear clear fruit, craving invisibility, stealth missions including Mr Prince on Little Garden and Alabasta, hijacking and destroying Enel's ship on Skypiea, the entire water 7 arc, opening gates at Ennies Lobby, stealth black + parallel with Gaban who is living his life hidden from the general public eye).

I also find it funny that Sanji also has the causes the government trouble. I mean he sunk into the train headed towards the Gates of Justice. He came so close with the help of Sniper King (iconic) and Franky when he met them later on. Even CP Agents were startled at the sight of him and was prepared to fight. He also close the gates of justice on the marines. Yeah that’s the deal with constantly being underestimated. He is the ships cook but also one of the best fighters.

Spoilers for the Egghead arc but seeing as how he kicked Kizurus light attack by evaporating it even the admiral was surprised. The wings are supposed to help the captain. Zoro defending Luffy and Sanji is allowed to freely move the crew to protect.

No fr why are we underestimating Duvall’s and Sanjis relationship. Man really went: he tap danced on my face and I thanked him for it and now we have a beautiful friendship

Duval came in the clutch for being one of the ones to protect the Sunny

You know what I like about one piece is the fact that some of the antagonists are competent at the jobs they were assigned. Rereading Impel Down, literally Magellan was BRUTAL. The only thing that stopped him was his pride and trust in Shiryu and Boa Hancock iconic the world will forgive me and it did!!

No like this man was a demon!! To the warlords both Jimbe and Crocodile was wary of him and Blackbeard underestimated him. If Shuryu had not came with the antidote, Magellan would have ended one of the villains.

You know in this site we should appreciate Gecko Moria more… Mihawk has pretty privilege on being Peronas “father figure” when in actuality it’s Moria.

Perona, in canon, loves him and that’s his goth daughter thank you very much. He raised her!!!

Also we forget that he is kind of the chilest of the Warlords like when he is face to face with Luffy, he kind of had a conversation with him. He appreciated his ambitions and his crew. Luffy and Moria were more alike and he saw that. He just was telling him that he could not go to the new world like that in terms of strength. And as we saw in Sabody, the prophecy came true.

Honestly I’m excited for his return (maybe in Cross Guild) as the last time we saw him he was in an island emperor territory of Blackbeard and honestly he could be grave robbing bodies. So I’m hype for his return and an exploration of his and Peronas relationship

You know what I really like about Sanji is his ability to go out of the way for people in need. His kindness is who he is and it does help the straw hats in the long run. A few examples I could think about would be in Dressorsa and Punk Hazard.

With Kinemon when Sanji was in Nani’s body he saved him and in turn Kinemon felt comfortable to turn to the straw hats for help. In Dressorosa he helped Violet and I think she gave him info on the SMILE factory.

The sidequest Sanji is fun and I do like him helping people along the way but also his crew in the long run.

Although I would admit I would like to see the Return of Mr Prince and shenanigans with Crocodile or the Cross Guild lol
