The Red Shoes (Michael Sporn, 1990)
Latto reminds me very much of New New from ATL.
She became the blueprint for a lot of suburban biracial and light-skinned girls that wanted to cosplay "ghetto princess". MIND YOU Lauren London's real personality was way closer what New New was trying to emulate than anything. She was basically cosplaying her. A biracial girl who was home schooled and dated a particular type of man. First lil wayne then nipsy hussle
No because you're on to something! Also, I do not like how Latto prioritizes talking about her Virginity in her music, like it's weird. It gives slight Pick Me tea...like sure do something different than coochie rap (as if it's bad?? It's quite popular and fun), but rapping about your low body count..quite childish.
It is actually extremely corny
Waiting for the right nigga right time, only to end up a baby mama to a âmarried manâ I hate when the raps donât line up to real life.
SINNERS (2025) dir. by RYAN COOGLER
i donât think we give beyoncĂŠ enough credit as beauty inspo from the 2000s OVERALL. not just early. i feel like we see beyoncĂŠ as THE QUEEN and a fashion icon as well but the amount of looks sheâs pulled; natural, high glam, soft and pretty. beyoncĂŠ truly is an oracle of inspiration for a beauty junkie like me

Rewatching drumline. Orlando Jones coulda knocked me DOWN good lord that man was fine.
Black people meeting:
So I saw a video of a black lady who got a racist ass note on her door in Hawaii basically saying "nigger go home or else"
As we no antiblackness is everywhere but the comments on that video were... troubling. It was basically saying "oh well i guess now I don't care about them getting their land back" and "oh they deserved to be colonized"
Huh?
Why do we do this? We find one bad apple and immediately assume culturally everyone is like that. I can tell you yes pacific islanders especially Hawaiians and Samoans have some deep antiblackness in there cultural MAINLY do to colonization and religion (the Mormons have done irreparable harm to that community) but there are just as many if not more VERY vocal anti racist people in that community. You're algorithm just feeds negative. There is a creator I've posted videos about on here that talks about how the civil rights movement ties directly into Hawaiian liberation (Shaykauwe).
But even more than that you know who we don't do this too? White... that actual source of the fucking issue FOR EVERYONE.
There is no liberation without unity
This is not the way I think/what I believe, HOWEVER, from speaking to people that do think this way, the sentiment is kinda like deep down we already thought you didnât fuck with us so fuck you too type thing? I think itâs reactionary and lowkey a trauma response and kinda is the way they get to feel âpowerfulâ. Yk how everyone has access to use nigger as a derogatory when they feel fit, I think they feel they donât have a come back to it that hurts as systemically. So theyâre like the one thing we do have is the ability keep our solidarity and hit you at your oppression point⌠idk. Itâs fucked up all the way around. Ik it sounds corny but itâs v much hurt people hurting people.
I agree that's it's exactly what it is... but
1. It plays into the hands of our oppressors
2. THEY ARE STARTING TO USE WHITE SUPREMACY TALKING POINTS AS COMEBACKS
Lol they havenât done the knowledge so they donât know yet. Wakanda isnât real and we do in fact need to unify to be powerfully and knock all this shot over. Fingers crossed one day they wake up. ((On both sides tbh. ))
You get the picture?
