Maybe they’d be a half-elf, tiefling, water genasi, and human. Where their own narrative is doomed, where only one of them remembers. Where they’re never together again.

That wouldn’t be too dissimilar to this one.

Maybe.

Maybe they’d be four small humans, each fighting their own curses as they turn to each other to survive. Each battling everyday at such a young age, yet still enjoying life to the best of their abilities.

That might be nice.

Maybe.

Maybe they’re a half-elf, dwarf, and human; the fourth member nowhere to be found, the three living with an ailment they’re desperately trying to cure. Feeling like there’s something missing, yet never being able to place what.

That sounds.. wrong. They’re a four.

Maybe.

Or maybe they’re just four regular humans, living their lives without magic or the constant threat of death looming over them. Entertaining thousands of people across the world; forming a warm, safe community that everyone feels welcome in. Creating these fantastical worlds for people to get lost in. Becoming a home for those who need one.

..that sounds perfect.
