Taking all the pieces we obtain through learning and growing through life, we can build them into some special. 

A fantastic book.  Massimino overcame many obstacles to achieve his goal of being an astronaut.  Very inspiring and motivational.  No matter what you do, always ensure that it’s your passion.

Living with integrity and character is vital.  Avoid the traps of short cuts and tarnishing a legacy.

While some may want to fight as a first response to any perceived threat, we must always consider all aspects of our decisions. 

While we may not all develop to the levels of Neil, we can all use his example to continually improve and develop.  Always strive to be your best self, and never stop learning and growing.

A suicide is something that impacts everyone.  Even years later, the memories can be striking and surreal.  The loss never quite leaves us, and echoes of memories still shine.  Garrett was my friend, and each time I hear or see someone died via suicide, my thoughts immediately go back to this dark time.  Take the time to reach out to those who may need a hand.  Be a friend in their time of need when you can.  A life may be saved.
