Hey guys here a draw that my sister requested hope guys like took me hours. Also there’s an explanation of why I haven’t uploaded. This explains why⬇️(sorry if it’s long) Hey guy this drawing was sitting in my tablet for so long because I wasn’t satisfied with anything of it, the sketch, the idea so I would force myself to do it because it was for someone special; therefore my sister. She asked for two drawings and one of them was a portrait and and I was somewhat satisfied. But when it came to this one I didn’t want to half ass it so I just had to step away from it. I went to a few different drawings but I didn’t like how all of them were turning out. I stop myself from stressing out. Weeks gone by I picked a pencil, layed my pencil on a piece of paper and .... nothing. I couldn’t get myself to draw anything. So I waited a little longer and tried again and still nothing. I then realized it was my art block. At first I was worried but then I thought to myself , “let me not stress out and just relax”. So weeks went by I would look at my art supplies and my mind was still not ready. Weeks turned into months. I rest my mind. Instead of trying to draw something great I had to draw something... fun: fan-art , doodling, my bad oc’s , coloring. I was just going with the flow I didn’t let myself get down instead I kept it nice and slow. Until I was ready to draw this and I was. I was scared I wasn’t able to finish this but then when I started to draw something just took over me and I just let my hand run wild. This whole experience taught me that when you have art block it’s not that won’t ever get to draw. It just mean you need a break because stressing out about it won’t change anything. Find something else you like: playing games, read a book, clean your room, redecorate, do your makeup, anything and just have fun doing that. Because your art supplies won’t go anywhere and your great and not so great ideas WILL come back.
