We are almost at the end of our wait for The Vampire Lestat! Honestly, it’s been a slog, but I want to take a moment to thank just some of the fanfic writers and artists who have filled that time with some amazing stories and art and who give this fandom so much. It'd be so dope if S3 ended with Lestat meeting Marius, skip Marius's long ass history lecture (save it for S4), and he tells Lestat to go to America and live his one life after the Akasha incident.

Meanwhile, in present day, Louis and Lestat come back together after an entire season of being at odds but it's ruined when Akasha awakens (similar to the book). Then the last scene is Lestat taking Marius's advice and arriving in New Orleans and meeting Louis, calling back to S1E1.

The contrast and symmetry would be too delicious. I love love circular "rhyming" in stories structures. Is that just fanfic brain or would it be perfect?
