Oh Seacrest, you’re not weak. Or scratch that, maybe you are, but it still wouldn’t be your fault that Arcee’s built like a wall of pink bricks.

“Bullscrap. That’s a Seacrest room if ever I’ve seen one. The only way it could be more yours is if it had a framed picture of your own face.”

He’s just gonna have a wander around, taking in the view at his leisure.

“You’ve got to run me through the posters. I don’t know who half of these people are.”

You think Arcee is pink? You should see the mortification of his faceplates as pedes slide on the floor trying to push the mech out of the Nerd Museum.

“Fine! It’s mine! Can we g-” And, they are just walking around the exhibit, leaving Seacrest to just skitter around behind him trying to cram stuff into his subspace when Arcee wasn’t looking.

“That’s …. Actually kinda surprising” Seacrest blinks at Arcee admitting to not knowing a bunch. Of course, the main visages of Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave and Soundwave went without explanation. You’d have to be newly forged to not know them on sight.

Don’t think he fails to notice Seacrest skuttling around trying to hide things either. Nothing gets by Arcee, except for social norms and most jokes.

Wrong room? Someplace that by definition he’s not supposed to be looking at? Oh dear, it seems his pedes have suddenly stopped working, rooting him squarely to the spot where he stands. That can happen in a mech’s old age.

“Wait, wait…is that what I think it is? Are we where I’m thinking we are?”

Nothing that could be defined as squaddies, but something that’s tempting him to grin nonetheless.

Shoulder wedged against lower back and pedes scrabbling for traction trying to push Arcee out of his quarters, his nerdary on display!, and he did not understand how Arcee could just brick himself like this … Was Seacrest just weak?

“N-Nope! This is Caspian’s room! Which is why we gotta leave as very rude to just appear in peoples quarters uninvited”

Shove shove shove.

Push push push.

Spyder was busy working out of his lab for once. Mostly because he needed the space. His newest design had turned out bigger than he initially intended and Redstrike had forbidden him from building it in the cargo bay ssssoooo.... Outside. It was fine really, they're little landing spot was pretty secluded. It'd be fine. Mostly. Even if he DID have to keep running into the ship to get tools he'd forgotten.

Or he had until he'd dumped every tool he had on the ground near his work space. But at least now he could work on his new kinetic energy energon generator in peace. Well, relative peace. He had his music blasting pretty loud. But that was his usual MO so he wasn't gonna dwell on it. And he was making some pretty good time on it, all things considered. Right up until he dropped down from the top to grab a new tool and looked up to see ...a pink femme.

Megatron goes still, as Arcee approaches; red optics watch the other narrowly and his stance shifts just slightly as if instinct tries to bring his cannon to bear-- a cannon he no longer owns.

And if it did come to a fight, Megatron is back on Fool's Energon after that slight respite. He would lose the fight.

Especially against Arcee.

Ultimately, however, it’s the mention of the name that sends his field bristling.

“I’ll hold you to that.” He wouldn’t normally take kindly to being scoooted, but Seacrest has diplomatic immunity. Out you go, Arcee, into the scary world full of social interactions.

When the portal opens up and Seacrest bows to him, he can’t help but smile a little brighter, and not just from the happy thrill in his spark he gets whenever someone genders him correctly.

“Cute.”

He steps on into the swirling lights and whatever awaits him beyond.

Aw, Arcee is cute when he smiles. A rare event in the cosmos, but it makes his spark bounce around in his chassis like his altmode’s inspiration leaping from the waves, don’t mind him trotting forwards to link an arm with pink pal so he doesn’t exit the portal swamped by curious squaddies.

Stepping out of the swirling vortex reveals… Oh no.

“Ah! Aha! Wrong room! Wrong room!” There goes Seacrest trying to scoot Arcee towards the door after they stepped out into his berthroom. His nerdishly decorated berthroom with posters! And framed things! And bric-a-brac! How will Arcee think he’s cool now!?

“Wait, wait...is that what I think it is? Are we where I’m thinking we are?”
