Write with an academic voice and get people replying with gifs of someone doing the jerk-off motion. Tone it down to a more accessible voice and get people going "have you even read [politics book]???" Somehow manage to walk the tightrope of verbiage and get people saying "[public figure] won't fuck you" or "Do you honestly think you posting about it will make a difference? lmao" as if they aren't also posting about the same issue (of course they're projecting a more cynical/ironic tone so it's totally different). And regardless of what you write, anyone who disagrees with you (and some people who don't) will only skim the post, pick out the 6 words they like the least, and rant about that. Some people will forgo reading altogether and look at your bio for ammunition. At no point will you be anything other than "random person on the internet" to them.
