hi! i’m ladybug (or fawnshell or fawn). my pronouns are she/her but i don’t actually really care what gendered terms you use for me. my main blog is @littleladybugart, and i have a warriors rewrite going over at @ladybug-makes-warriors-gay.

this blog is for my silly little clangen save that i have too much lore for now!

the cats used to to be normal pirates on a distant planet, but they had to leave and eventually came upon earth! it has been long abandoned after some massive apocalypse wiped out the humans, but traces of their civilization still remain! the cats’ names come from phrases and objects they come across on earth, as a way to celebrate their new home, though they aren’t exactly sure what they mean. anyway, earth is their new home base and they’re space pirates now! they control the space around earth and fight off any other pirates or factions looking to challenge them.

tldr; they’re space pirates on an abandoned earth.

this is mostly a way to get me more invested in my clangen save, and will be primarily silly doodles. please do not expect a comic or a crazy storyline or anything. it’s just for fun :)

you can totally send asks to the characters or to me, i would love to chat or talk about behind the scenes stuff! feel free to ask me about stuff happening in the actual game as well, like sprite changes or what their names were before i changed them.

i have had many a hollyleaf design since i started rereading the series and trying to design all the cats, so here they are!

ft.bonus first lion/jay designs.

i honestly hit the nail on the head with this one, i still think this captures almost everything i want in her design, and it’s been around for the longest and i’ve drawn it the most.

i made this before i designed any of the three's parents (real or fake), so i was only basing them off the ideas i had in my head at the time. i knew i wanted crow to be skinny with a long tail and leaf to have a fluffy mane and tail, and that i wanted holly to look more like crow.

we have the subtle start of her little eye thing and freckles, and the berries at the base of her tail.

this is my mothpool design for her! i made this once i actually had designs for both leaf and moth, and i am very very happy with it. she would be more brown in this design, not black.

this is where she gained the little butt spots and nose and ear patches! i really like this iteration, i think it's cute.

this was for a school assignment, but it gave me the idea for her to have more of a mane! her little leaf eye things are usually green in my head, but having them be a darker black like her other markings worked better for the illustration.

her final form (so far)! with the added bonus of younger and older designs. i really really like these, and i think they're the best version i've done, but i do often struggle to draw her mane, esp at different angles. you may notice the nose and ear patches are gone, i decided they made the design too complicated and it worked better if all the black was uniform. this version of her also fits much better with my thunderclan and windclan design philosophy now.

i like the idea that silver is big like her mama, but i did realize halfway through drawing it that willow is meant to be half windclan and she does not look anything like a windclan cat. oh well. maybe graypool got all the windclan genes
