Southwold is hands down my favourite, fairly nearby seaside town. It’s full of quirky art pieces and political/outright weird arcade games created by an artist. The pier itself was restored by local resident donations, and is generally just such a delight to visit. Things can be fairly expensive, such as the local fish and chips but you’re missing out on the freshest food around if you choose not to splash out a little. Also, a great feature is a the Adnam’s brewery. I couldn’t tell you what the beer is like, nor the gin - mostly because I don’t remember. Slightly more attractive photos on insta: littledimples

Our move is very gradual, but we’re getting there slowly. This week we’re receiving our garden furniture and coffee table. Next week is our fridge, and soon Martina’s parents are visiting. It’s hectic, but exciting too. I love seeing the pieces come together. We napped yesterday by pushing the sofas together because we’re adorable.

We had such a great time in Czech Republic visiting my girlfriend’s parents. We surprised them with the help of her brother, and it was really cute. They took us two castles (which is essentially 90% of what covers Czech, in between the incredible mountains and rich history), some breathtaking sights and delicious food. Everyone we met had been accommodating and kind too. It was just glorious, and I miss it already. We also met an Olympian. I mean, I couldn’t tell you who she was but it was definitely cool. She was presenting a school sports day. We didn’t get to go to Prague as we only stayed two nights, but we’ll be back later in the summer for more goulash and cottage BBQ’s. A few hours sleep and we’re off!

Lately my life has been full of dreams about pretty houses and job aspirations. We’re moving into our house next week, and I’m thrilled. I’ve got a new job in the pipeline (more homelessness, less hours) and I’ve decided I’d really like to start tattooing. Sadly, this broke ass bitch with responsibilities can’t afford an apprenticeship. I’ve found an intense course in London, which is very expensive, but I’m looking for advice from anyone who may’ve started up tattooing themselves?

We spend all of our free time in nature lately. At least we’re cute 🏳️‍🌈

I attended Strawberry Fair on Saturday, mostly to please my teenage self. As expected, I got absolutely rat-arsed and failed to take any photos. Sunday I spent with my favourite foreigner basking/suffering in the sunshine at Fen Drayton Lakes after a spot of sofa shopping. We picked about 20, and settled with none
