The Yapper is back and is here to fill the Miranda tag with more lengthy ass headcanons 😼 Though this headcanon post will be for both Miranda and Eva cause I’m having my brain consumed by them
Eva loves challenges and being told she wouldn’t do a certain thing just to prove that person wrong by doing it.
Anyway, Miranda was making her and Eva some dinner one day, and Eva had come up to her mom, eager to watch her cook (and to steal some ingredients to nibble on before dinner). While Miranda was cutting up some lemons since the recipe called for it, Eva had grabbed one to bite into since she didn’t know how truly sour a lemon was at that moment. Quickly Miranda had snatched the sour fruit from the little girl’s hands and told her she wouldn’t be able to withstand the taste of a lemon just by itself. Obviously, Eva felt challenged by this and said she could eat a whole lemon without making a sour face. Miranda obviously didn’t believe the little girl’s words at all, so she didn’t give the lemon back immediately — also because she didn’t want her little girl to possibly cry due to the sourness — but after a few minutes Miranda finally craved and gave Eva the lemon.
It was mere seconds before Eva had full on bit into the lemon raw, which concerned Miranda at first until she noticed Eva’s face expression haven’t even changed a bit. To both her and Miranda’s surprise, Eva actually enjoyed the taste of the lemon a lot and didn’t even find it that sour. That was the day they had both learned that Eva could and would eat a raw lemon and enjoy it like it was apple instead.
Miranda is very obsessed over her appearance socially and physically. If there was a mirror in any room she steps into, Miranda immediately tries to get in front of it and tidy up any slip ups in her appearance that possibly happened through the day.
She actually gets irritated when she is in the Benvineto mansion since Donna had broken all of the mirrors within the house many years ago. Meaning Miranda will never get a clear reflection of herself while she is there, which means Miranda has to deal with the annoying feeling of something being out of place with her appearance until she finds a unbroken mirror.
Miranda is always wearing heels, when she isn’t in her own home you will always see her in some heels or either hear her walking with them. This is simply because Miranda doesn’t feel small types of pain like walking in heels all day.
Eva will only drink water when it’s sparkling water. Miranda doesn’t understand this preference that her daughter has since Miranda herself finds sparkling water to be just plain and unnecessary. And the only reason that Eva will give her when Miranda asks for one, is that she finds sparkling water to be just better than plain. Miranda finds it amusing and also confusing but she did buy a sparkling water machine a few years back since she can’t deny Eva of anything no matter what. It’s also because she doesn’t want Eva drinking soda’s all that often, so sparkling water it is!
If Miranda was to have a partner when Eva is bought back, that lover would’ve seen a whole 360 of Miranda. Because the Miranda they knew didn’t show emotion, but now every feeling when it comes down to her daughter is so obvious. When she is worried? Noticed immediately. Angry? Noticed and noted. So happy that it almost seemed as though Miranda couldn’t be anything else but truly human? Noticed and definitely photographed. And unless Miranda’s partner is adamant on making this chance more obvious, Miranda doesn’t know if she likes this change or not.
Still too entranced at the miracle in her arms once again to care.
Like seriously, Miranda’s lover would have to keep a stack of paper in Eva’s nursery due to the fact Miranda would complain about needing some. As she used 50 pieces of paper already to draw little scenes of her lover and Eva, or just sketch Eva’s face over and over again.
If there was ever a binder dedicated to Eva’s childhood, those sketch pieces will definitely be included here and there.
Miranda loves shiny things, and Eva loves finding things that other parents would consider unless junk that shines.
Eva was a toddler when this trait was at its prime, and she’ll run up to Miranda all times of the evening to show something new she found out in the grass. Miranda would take it, stare at it with such an intense stare, and then gush over how much she loves it.
Miranda has a whole chest full of these trinkets, and a shelf for the ones she love most.
And that’s all I got 🥹 not much fuel in the motor right now, saving it for something else! Love these two though, seriously would love to see a modern setting fic with Miranda and Eva both cause these two will give you all the fluff you need
