Complicated Chronic Lady

I was tagged by no one, I just wanted to do this for myself and anyone who is interested to learn more about my oc’s. I am going to do all OC’s at some point.I did add some things that I wanted to include. The picture is of Bernice. I encourage anyone who has an oc to do this!

-Gender: Female

-Sexuality: Straight

-Pronouns: She/Her

Other:

-Family: An awful father who was verbally abusive. A wonderful mother who she loves dearly. No siblings.

-Birthplace: Leeds, Alabama

-Birthday: March 30th, 1993 (She is 25.)

-Star Sign: Aries (Aries are generally eager, dynamic, quick, and competitive.)

-Job(s): Junior Deputy. She has also been a waitress.

-Phobias: Small spaces

-Guilty Pleasure: Music, especially Irish music (her mother is of Irish decent), sweets, and water. She loves to be in the different water found all around Hope County. 

-Hobbies: Helping out around Hope County for anything or everything. Saving animals if at all possible. Swimming. Singing and challenging her friends to different contests.

-Morality Alignment: Good for the most part. She does have a bit of a temper at times.

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about how you should get off of tumblr and take advantage of your newfound free time to work on your WIP. 

It’s undeniable that it would be a great opportunity to do a lot of writing, but also… If you don’t want to write, that’s okay.

If you’re trying to write, and you can’t, that’s okay too.

Nothing is wrong with you, you’re not a failure, and you’re not a bad writer for not writing. It’s a stressful time right now, and there are a lot of valid reasons to take a break.

You can write if you want to. You also don’t have to write if you don’t want to.

Be kind to yourself, take care of yourself. 

Don’t let the internet pressure you into doing something you don’t want.

Many of us -FC5 content creators- are still here, creating content and trying to support others, no matter what, or if they’re big or small blogs. The fandom IS NOT DYING at all. And personally, it’s a statement that bothers me a lot because I feel that what we are doing day after day is being completely undervalued or ignored. We’re still drawing, writing, making edits, taking screenshots, etc. MANY PEOPLE ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE FANDOM IN MANY DIFFERENTS WAYS.

That’s what we should focus on. And I’m not trying to underestimate anyone’s opinion, don’t get me wrong, I know that the tone on the internet can be misunderstood. I’m saying that I’m kinda tired of seeing some people complaining again and again, but doing nothing to support others, to contribute, share their works, OCs, etc. How’s the situation supposed to change, then? 

As a content creator, I can say that it’s also frustrating and discouraging. Support is bidirectional, there’s a need for feedback, no one is more than anyone, and I’ve said it many times, I can’t expect other’s support if I don’t do the same. That’s the center of this thing. 

So, it doesn’t matter if you’re already here or your a newcomer, DON’T GIVE UP. Do what you want to do, what you like to do; share your OCs, fill the FC5 tags with your contents, write, draw, edit, whatever you want to do. Most of this fandom is 100% supportive and welcoming, and we’re still here to enjoy all this thing.

Also, don’t forget that there are great initiatives right now like @farcry5positivity, @fc5appreciation, @hopecountyocs, and the Secret Santa/Gift Exchange @seedsplease and some of us are getting ready right now.

Again, the fandom is not dying. It has its ups and downs as everything in this life. As simple as that.
