Rolling the full set of seven polyhedral dice (D4 to D100) for a single reading is a powerful act of Astragalomancy. While the individual dice provide contextual details (the 'Micro-Meaning'), the Grand Total reveals the overall energy, fate, and final outcome of the matter in question—the 'Macro-Meaning'.

The minimum possible total is 7, and the maximum possible total is 160.

Micro-Meaning: The Individual Die Interpretations

Each die, from the D4 to the D100, governs a specific energetic domain. The result of each die tells you the state of that domain in relation to your query.

D4 - The Foundation (Action & Stability)

The D4 roll reveals the most immediate, concrete action required or the foundational stability of the querent’s situation.

Result 1 (The Root)

You must return to the basics. The situation requires stability, grounding, and a solitary, focused start. Go back to square one.

Result 2 (The Balance)

A partnership or relationship is the core issue. Seek balance, listen to counsel, and avoid polarized thinking. Cooperation is required for progress.

How to Calculate the Final Meaning

1. Roll All Seven Dice: D4+D6+D8+D10+D12+D20+D100=Total.

2. Reduce to a Single Digit: Add all the digits of the Total together.

3. Watch for Master Numbers: If the sum is 11, 22, or 33, stop the reduction (these are powerful exceptions).

4. Final Step: If the result is still two digits (and not a Master Number), add those digits together until you reach a single digit (1 to 9).

Let me tell you something they don’t always say in the glittery TikTok witch corners, you don’t need a candle for every mood, every moon, every color-coded correspondence chart. You don’t need twenty-seven jars of herbs and a wand carved from wood kissed by a fae prince.

Sometimes? You just need one candle. One flame. One little fire spirit. That’s it. That’s the whole altar.

I used to think I needed a different candle for every type of spell. White for clarity. Black for banishing. Green for money. Red for passion. And so on and so forth until I had a hoarder’s drawer full of half-burned wax orphans and a heart that still felt stuck.

But then one night, I had only one candle left, a simple tea light. No color. No scent. Just a stub of fire and a deep need. And what do you know? The spell worked anyway.

🌿 The Candle Itself Doesn’t Make the Spell, You Do

This is rule number one and it’s tattooed on the inside of my ribcage (okay, metaphorically): Your intention is the fuel. The candle is the match.

Yes, colors and scents can boost things, sure. But don’t let that trick you into thinking your power is limited to your supplies. It’s not. It never was.

One humble candle is a portal, a torch, a mirror, if you treat it like one.

🔮Cleanse It, Claim It, Charge It

Whatever candle you have, tea light, birthday candle, old emergency taper from the back of your junk drawer. make it yours.

Cleanse it: You can pass it through incense, sprinkle salt on it, whisper over it, or knock it against your palm three times. Do what feels like a reset.

Claim it: Hold it in your hands and say: “You are mine. You are my flame, my focus, my will made visible.”

Charge it: Focus on your goal. Imagine it soaking into the wax like honey. It doesn’t have to take more than a minute. The more focused you are, the brighter the burn.

Hello! I have recently had a lot of people ask me about salt, crystals, cleansing, and damage, so I wanted to quickly make a post about it! I felt like this information could be helpful for my crystal friends!

First: What is salt cleansing? Where does it come from?

Salt cleansing is the process of using salt too energetically remove negativity or spiritual damage from a crystal while also boosting its own natural energy. Often times this process is simple, lay your crystal in a bed of salt and let it rest and recharge for 15-30 minutes. This historically comes from Mesopotamia when people would dress food products or clean themselves they used salt because of its anti-bacterial properties and it was said to protect from negative spirits. We also know that every culture on the planet had spiritual interactions with salt, like the Kalahari salt ritual where salt is considered sacred because it dries and stores food in travel. Salt rituals can be found in native folklore as well as in new age spaces for its protective and purifying abilities. Scientifically salt has been used to cure, dry, and preserve food and items like flowers for millennia, it also has been used as a saline solution when people are injured because of its antimicrobial properties, hence its associations through time!

What crystals cant go in salt?

While yes, I could start with crystals that are salt safe HOWEVER I feel like we are oversaturated with that information as most crystals are salt safe, I wanted to really explain what crystals cant go into salt, why, and what exactly happens. This is the pressing question that inspired this post, while a lot of crystals can go in salt, there are plenty that cannot! This is because salt is not only abrasive and can damage some soft crystals, but it also can lead to chemical reactions on some of them, so below is a list of guidelines and basic crystals that do not belong in salt.

Any crystal under 7 on the Mohs Hardness scale do not belong in salt beds or salt water. This is because it not only can scratch these stones, however you have a higher chance for reactivity in some of these raw crystals.

Jasper (cracks and breaks)

Fluorite (scratches, cracks, and disintegrates)

Rhodonite (Scratches, chemically reacts)

Bloodstone (Disintegrates)

Malachite (Breaks apart)

Sodalite (Discolors, cracks)

Moonstone (Debatable, experts are torn, better not to risk it)

Calcite (Scratches, some possibly react)

Selenite (Scratches, Disintegrates)

Kyanite (Disintegrates)

Apatite (Disintegrates)

Celestite (Breaks, Disintegrates)

Alabaster (Disintegrates, breaks)

Amber (Deforms, breaks)

Angelite (Disintegrates)

There are many others ranging from opal to pyrite, so here are some general rules of thumb to follow

If it end in -ite chances are it is not salt safe

If its under 7 in hardness its best to triple check if its safe

if it is raw triple check it wont react with salt

If its glittery (example: amazonite) it looses luster in salt

If its reactive to water, salt attracts moisture in the air, you need to triple-check (ex: angelite)

anything reactive to basic solutions (salt water has a PH of 8.1 which is quite basic)
