✨ as both a doctor and a time lord sorcerer, Dr. Strange immediately understands how something like age regression could be helpful in coping with the stresses in life.

✨ magic is something he spent a long time perfecting, just like his medical career, and just like he plans to do for you! he’s already so observant and attentive as a caregiver, but he immediately wants to have the utmost competence. he spends a lot of time online and in psychological study databases, asks a lot of questions (when you’re big enough to answer!), and he’s always thinking of ways he can learn more.

✨ but of course, when the need calls, he’s ready to jump into caregiver mode despite his level of “training” at the time. the moment you start to show the telltale signs of feeling little, his whole demeanor shifts. he’ll soften his voice just enough that his typical arrogant tone becomes unmistakably your daddy/papa/dada. he’s your rock, your biggest comfort, and your safest place all in one.

✨ “hey, little one, look at me. how small are we feeling right now?”

✨ sometimes you’re shy about how forward he is, but no one makes you feel as safe as he does, and he’d never, ever laugh at you or belittle you. he only wants to give you the highest standard of care you deserve, which is nothing less than the best!

✨ his magic is incredible to you whether you’re feeling grown up, teeny tiny, or somewhere in between. he uses it mainly as a tool, for things like quick mess clean-ups or adjusting the lighting/temperature in the room when you’re feeling more sensitive. secretly, he also loves making you giggle with sillier spells, like producing colorful bubbles out of thin air or displaying magical light shows on your bedroom ceiling.

✨ “you’re pretty magical, too, sweetheart. you don’t have to do a spell for me to know that.”

✨ his cape is the ultimate “babysitter” when he needs an extra hand! it brings toys and snacks and sippy cups of juice before you even know what you want! when you’re sleepy or feeling overwhelmed, it makes the bestest baby blankie. and secretly, Dr. Strange doesn’t even mind if you chew on the corner a little.

✨ oh, and he absolutely spoils you with every possible baby item you could ever want. he buys you the softest pajamas made of silk and cashmere, and his favorite nights are the ones where he gives you a soothing bubble bath with soft music and baby-safe tealights and one of the special bath bombs he insists you deserve a stash of.

✨ if you’re ever overwhelmed to the point of being fussy, he never snaps at you or acts like you’re bothering him. he’ll crouch down to your level, guide you through a deep breathing technique, and wrap you up in his arms to help you feel safe again.

✨ “breathe with me, that’s it. i won’t let anything happen to you.”

✨ at night, he likes to read to you from a storybook or even one of the magical texts that usually feel too dense to comprehend. his voice is soothing enough that you’re usually asleep in his lap by the middle of the story. he’ll either carry or levitate you to bed with him, where he keeps you close.
