SolarTale AgeRe

For around a year in consecutive work time, I've been working on an Age Regression, mostly wholesome [but far from always =)] Undertale AU by the names Our Little Monsters/SolarTale.

The first portion especially is Chara-centric, Frisk is a little angel, and Asriel's the middle child here to solve problems or become one depending on the day.

The world I've built crosses over with The Owl House, potentially a few more in the future cough AMPHIBIA cough, and Monster Territory itself takes a decent handful of SolarPunk ideology, aesthetics, and function into the system.

Originally it was meant to be a one and done agere story forever abandoned in the depths of Wattpad (until they deleted it because of course they did) but has been polished and expanded upon in a small series on the vastly superior AO3!

You're welcome to read it and ask me questions right here to clear up the settings, possibly get some sneak peeks at future stories and plot points, add your own ideas to the mix, or submit art/art ideas.

Extremely different.

90% of them are only in diapers by necessity, many of the rest because of everyone else's necessity.

Starting with Yellow Star Orphanage. The only kid there who would've been in diapers anyway was Dylan. He already wanted to be Little and totally conspires to get the rest diapered, but that's not very feasible if Monster Territory was any more Human-friendly.

Another exception is Kelly. She's in Monster Territory for better medical access (heart/blood pressure problems), the solution to which is also a diuretic. She could figure something out for a while longer but she'd have to get herself some padding eventually, and she'd want some cute patterns. Ian never getting put in them would likely mean they didn't connect as well and he just stays that depressed boy from the orphanage near the Major Medical Center.

How Bailey wound up wrapped in agere is its own thing, but Cassie is also padded by force. She does not handle the Monster crows and ravens well. By extension, Gregory's still at least in training pants to make her feel better, but never rly uses them.

The SorrowSworne are willing and Dylan's the one who gets Ceroba to think she should probably let the kiddos know padding is an option, so they'd still try it out. Mainly Monix and RCG padded, Low in trainers, Alone in diapers, not sure abt RK since he hasn't appeared yet. ReAnimal Girl can be diapered and Boy in trainers.

Of course there are Chara and Frisk, but besides them and ZoVee I can't think of anyone else who'd still be Little. Maybe Kris, as Ralsei (and possibly Elly) are gonna suggest it for the Wotor City (It's way outside normal Monster Territory), but he may or may not concede in the moment and have a few accidents before he does.

"hmm?" She barely acknowledged. It didn't carry well through the door between her bedroom and the den. The soft thuds of his footsteps irritably dragged across her dark, dark gray carpet to the black door with the bright red, shattered Soul on the front, within the ruby red doorframe. The pearly white dragoness groaned as it silently opened. Her clawed toes kicked down her black comforter with Souls of every color, a red blanket covered in black souls that matched her three pillow covers, and dug her heels across the blank red sheet. Chara clumsily brought herself to sit upright in only her diaper. Just a red puppydog one with a husky on the front. Its tongue wasn't drooping out of its cartoony face; she was dry. Her right shoulder ached, having slept on it weird.

Her black eyes flickered between slightly narrowed red slits and unfocused maroon ovals as she rubbed one of them, blinking slowly, and her knotted hair reflected the soft morning light red like the midnight blue of her many dragons' scales and some of the arcane crows. Her elbows sank into the mattress as she glared at the Dreemurrs' middle sibling. His fluffy ears draped over his sweater like the bottoms of his gray sweatpants over his bare paws with their black nails and pink paws. The edges of the fluff about his feet were stained grassy green. She was pretty sure there was a dandelion seed or two buried between his toes.

Is there more than one Toriel or is he also one of her kids?

Kris was holed up in an orphanage before the Barrier was broken. Since Monsters have claimed a bunch of land, he and the rest of the kids in the orphanage (now renamed Yellow Star Orphanage, based on its location in the seventh district of Star Area in Astral Sector, which probably doesn't make sense without a sort of map post) have been swept up in the expansion.

Now Ceroba is pretty much the only dedicated Caretaker of the orphanage and desperately trying to keep it together (Martlet helps and taught Kris some basic trades stuff to do the same).

SolarTale Kris has never met Toriel, Asriel, or any member of the Royal Family. He just lives in an area next to the Sector they live in and wound up becoming fast friends (eventually partners) in Kralsuselle. He doesn't even know the Royal kiddos' names (he doesn't keep up with politics)

While he remains a gremlin, much of his jadedness comes from being passed by/generally forgotten throughout his time at the orphanage, due in no small part to all the younger and easier kids being chosen and how difficult it is for a teenager to get adopted in comparison, instead of some Dess/divorce/Dark Fountains-related event completely shattering his family life.

Not misgendering when that's what they are in SolarTale, this is the end of this discussion.

Also, while I'm thinking about it; I regularly handle so many characters that Tumblr tends to cut off my tags so the female charisk and male kris tags don't always make into the vvvThe Horrible Paragraph TMvvv so I'm not nearly as annoyed abt it anymore.

yeah so I haven't gotten any more VSR done because this blurb with the Royal Family kids is already twice as long as all 3 other mini-stories.

But I'm nearing the home stretch! The sisters are annoying Asriel and got to play with a doggie in the rain!
