bonnie appreciates that he doesn't try to stop her again. he trusts what she's saying, what she's capable of - and doesn't overestimate her either. she appreciates it more than she can fully explain, so she doesn't try to.
maybe later, when they're safe, she'll thank him for it. for trying to protect her, and working together instead of taking on everything themselves.
she focuses on the magic needed to bring the rocks down. it's not a spell, exactly, more raw blast she lets out like a silent yell. sometimes it builds up, the power she has and keeps contained with all her rage and hurt and heartbreak, and she feels somewhat like she expects a pressure cooker does.
now she expels all of that towards the rocks, and they scatter, some crumbling, most pieces blasting away. some though, some fly forward, there's no stopping it. bonnie only stops once the way is clear, hands dropping to her sides as she lets out a loud whoosh of relief.
are you okay, scott asks, and bonnie blinks for a second before she smiles. there's an ache in her neck, just like she expected, and she could sleep for the next 36 hours very happily, but other than that - "i'm okay. you? the rocks didn't actually cause any damage, right?"
