He grabs a couple of bags and heads toward the door, letting her unlock it for both of them. "What did you buy?" He wonders aloud, curious to hear about her purchases. "It feels like a lot..." The bags are heavy, anyway. Although maybe that's because Joe isn't in the best of health at the moment. He's been working on his novel and when he isn't, he's mostly at The Avenue watching his friend Lisa perform and getting her opinion on his chapters. He tries his hardest to exercise when he can, but it's hard for him to find the time.

"Just a few things." Cass smiles a little sheepishly, aware that her thrifting addiction was getting a little out of hand. But she could make so many nice things with the leftover fabrics of items that had been loved a little too much. She was excited to see what she could do with it all and it hadn't cost her too much. "It's really not that much, it's just because of the fabrics. There's just a few dresses and shirts in there. I want to take them apart and use them to make other clothes."

it's a panic attack, or something close to it. he feels weak, and vulnerable, and his fingers curl into the sleeve of isaac's shirt almost desperately. "so - sorry," he manages, eyes pained and smile broken. "i jus - don't wanna be alone."

"what's brought this on?" if they can get to the source, perhaps they can calm him down a little easier than wildly flailing in the dark of the unknown. free hand moves to cover scotts', the one that is curling into his sleeve. "it's alright, hey, c'mon. look at me. you're alright."

"I owe you one," he says grinning, as he takes the offered seat next to her and taking the offered coffee, glad to get off his aching feet for a bit. "Hoping your day has been at least a little less hectic than mine."

"oh, please." her hand waves off his words and she smiles. "you don't owe me anything. this is a friendly gesture for a hardworking colleague and friend." she hopes that they're friends by now and that she isn't jumping the line on that one. "it was... alright. a little weird at times but when isn't it? how're your feet? throbbing?"
