I COULDA FREAKIN GOT TICKETS TO SEE TWENTY ONE PILOTS THROUGH THE VERIFIED FAN PRESALE, NEARISH TO WHERE I LIVE, AND I HESITATED CAUSE I DIDNT HAVE ANYONE WHO’D REALLY WANNA GO WITH ME, BUT THEN I WAS LIKE, HECK ILL BUY TWO TICKETS AND CONVINCE SOMEONE, BUT BY THEN ALL THAT WAS LEFT WAS LIKE $300 TICKETS AND IM NOT THAT RICh and so now I missed out... I am disappointment. Why it gotta be like this.

So to me, this is Tyler’s way of telling us to look to the rising sun, cause the sun rises in the East ‘n all. We can have faith that a new day is coming, never stop fighting to reach the dawn. We can be fearless because the sun will rise. East is up.

Honestly though, I love how Tyler and Josh did all the cryptic messages and sound bites and then realeased this song for us to make all the connections to it, like lil mini mysteries for us to unravel. Also it makes me think of how Gravity falls did all those super in depth cryptic messages throughout the whole show. I guess I just love that sort of thing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
