Why are our songs so dark but our shows a celebration? Because our songs are to help you get through those dark times and our shows are a celebration of you making it through another day. Our shows are celebrating the fact that youâre not alone. So letâs celebrate.

What's your story of discovering tøp? What were your first thoughts about them? Which song(s) made you stan tøp?
I knew about their existence back in 2013 bc someone revined a vid of them doing the âonly skeleton bones remainâ finger gun thing, and bc I was young and dumb I was creeped out. The first time I heard their music was either through a vine edit of TIMH or when I was hanging with friends after a pride parade last year and they played fairly local or maybe stressed out. Before I actually listened to any album fully I watched their vines and interviews so I really started liking them as people first. When I listened to blurryface on a roadtrip to New Hampshire in August and when I bought vessel in September and listened to it on car rides home from piano lessons was when I started finding solace in their music. The songs that really made me stan them were TIMH, fairly local, the run and go, and semi-automatic.
@heathense: Hey, your ask is not opened. Here Whatâs your story of discovering tøp? What were your first thoughts about them? Which song(s) made you stan tøp?Â
I completely forgot to turn my ask, iâm sorry about that!Â
I discovered tøp when I heard they were touring with paramore and you me at six. Then I looked them up on youtube and watched car radio and house of gold and I was like âwow this is so weird and different but I like itâ but I wasnât too in love with them just yet. Then, a few months later, I became really anxious and depressed because of school and stuff, and then I listened to songs from 8tracks and a lot of people had twenty one pilots songs in their playlists.Â
It was that time when I really listened to them. I heard forest, truce, migraine and a few other songs. I just realized the lyrics of their song is exactly how I was feeling/going through, so I looked up their albums and just fell in love with them because I found myself in their music. Kitchen Sink was the number one song that really made me into them, itâs my favorite tøp song!Â
So yeah, I started listening to them in a lot, whether if Iâm feeling sad or happy; I just listened to them and now itâs like I CANâT STOP LOVING THEM. And so here I am!Â
Thank you for the question! ily!Â
I'm glad the band has helped you in any way. I hope they will continue to do so.
Yeah, honestly me too. I think I listen to their music everyday, give or take.
Thank you for answering. Stay alive |-/

what was the whole #riplola thing about?
It's someone faking a suicide and trying to get Tyler and Josh (and the crews) to notice them and dedicate Trees for 'Lola'. They found out about it and we did as well. I don't know the detailed story after I found out it was fake.
three internet trends i will (regrettably) probably never grow out of:
⢠typing in a cresCENDO TO EXPRESS EXCITEMENT ⢠âŚâŚâŚâŚ..unnecessarilyâŚâŚ. longâŚâŚâŚ.. ellipsisâ ⢠puttinfh a typo in eveyr other word to shwo u dont really give a fukc but u actually do
also unnecessary!!!! punctuation marks??????? likeâŚâŚ ??? what is going on here????? i!! am!!! so!!! excited!!!!
and⢠totally⢠unneeded⢠trademark symbolsâ˘
personally I enjoy Random Capitalisation to show things are Very Important
can we also talk about starting a sentence and then kind of justÂ
What's your story of discovering tøp? What were your first thoughts about them? Which song(s) made you stan tøp?
Well, my first time listening to twenty one pilots were due to a best friend. A few years ago, we would send music we liked back and forth and one in particular one stood out to me. It was that blue and yellow, VERY well done lyric video of Migraine. I never heard anything like their music before and I kept listening! The lyrics really resonated with me and I had to see if they did anything else. I listen to the rest of Vessel. The piano along with rapping about inner thoughts and ukulele and synth was something Iâd never heard before!
My first few songs were obviously Migraine, then Holding on to You, Car Radio, and Semi-Automatic really stuck with me. After that I listen to Regional at Best and No Phun Intended. Be Concerned, Time to Say Goodbye were two I enjoyed. Prove Me Wrong is one of my all time favorites.
What made me stay with them and watch them grow, was their live performances. How Josh would play with his eyes closed. How Josh would change his hair due to the candy in a hat thing. Tyler shaking his body during his singing and piano playing. His speeches. And knowing one day I could see that with my eyes and not through a screen, kept me listening to this day. I thought theyâd never release anything else and was very surprised to see Blurryface come out when it did! For some reason I thought they were a dormant band at first. They werenât and Iâm glad.

My roommate sophomore year introduced me to TĂP. She was like Mal you have to listen to these guys (I guess she had liked them for a while and saw one of their shows back when they were starting out). She played the Holding Onto You music video for me and I was so confused. I remember not being sold on them. My initial reaction was âItâs just two people?? What??â. Not being that sold I really stuck to listening to Holding Onto You and Car Radio. I played Car Radio so much. Then maybe a month or two later I decided to listen to the rest of Vessel and went âHoly shit. This is so good. Why didnât I listen to this earlier??â And I was sold on the boys. I canât stand the term âStanâ but the one song that I got âYes this is my song and these are my boysâ is Screen. It means the world to me. Iâd probably say Car Radio as well. I listened to it so much that first month of discovering them.

I was doing zapping, and somehow this video caught me attention⌠It was Car Radio, and I feel so connected with the lyrics, the music, and I liked the video too! Then I googled them, and here I am, couple of years later! X
The music video of Car Radio is probably why I'm here. It intrigued me, it still does.

My friends would always go on Twenty Ăne Piløts and I thought they meant actual Piløts when I found out it was a band, I of course I had to do some band homework and the first song I heard of theirs was Guns For Hands and I automatically loved it. I fell in love with Blurryface and Vessel. Then I found out about Kitchen Sink through my friend Addison and that brought me to my new Favorite songs, Ruby, Oh Miss Believer and Forest. The songs that really made me like TĂP were Guns For Hands, Car Radio and House Of Gold. I still havenât found a TĂP song that I didnât like. Sorry itâs long and probably confusing.
