I remember the occasion that she did this, she said it three separate times in the same conversation and then paused for reaction like she had told a joke. My autistic ass didn't realize until I'd gone home that this was meant to be offensive, but I still made note of it just in case.

So the next shift I asked her about her new workout hobby like I was just curious. Put on my best dumb-blond facade and said in a calm, friendly voice, "Well, you were talking about working out the other day. How's your routine going?" She started to deny it and even said it must have been another coworker (who was not even there at the time). I did not relent. "Nah, couldn't have been. (Name) didn't work that day. Anyway, you had it on your brain. Are you thinking of trying something new?" Still smiling. Meanwhile, she's squirming. It felt so good.

I think it would be really funny if Clark's parents in the dcu were just doomsday preppers or something lol
