if youre black and planned on watching the finale of tvl, don’t. they have the man who lynched Louis carve a branding onto him while his head is severed from his body. there is nothing to see but pure and plain hatred of black people, of louis and jacob especially. jacob is being publicly humiliated and paraded around like this is a slave auction by rolin jones and hannah moskovitch and amc all together and i can assure you I personally will never watch a single second of anything amc makes and this will go down in textbooks next to birth of a nation for graphic grotesque whitelash and punishment of black ppl for Black Lives Matter movement. don’t watch this and let the black people in your life know not to watch it either

Something really needs to be said about the amount of queer shows with queer fandoms that are weirdly apathetic towards racism and misogyny.

incredibly sorry for the black writers and directors of the previous two seasons who thought they were building something. I am so sorry that your work was not respected and now dismissed by this new season. I am so sorry that the love and care with which you crafted the characters, especially of Louis and Claudia was so resented that the current writers' room chose to dilute all. I am so sorry that you are having to see the anti blackness in full force on a formerly black led show and everything you worked on- your vision- it was all wiped off. I am so sorry to Jacob and Delainey for having to work with those scripts.

the show sure seems to be about race when the writers have the opportunity to write racist jokes at the expense of the black characters. but not when it comes time to acknowledge the suffering of those characters.

i dont like when shane is characterized as being a color coded spreadsheet super organized and neat guy. that's not him. he's in a pressure cooker of his own design but he pays people to do the admin for him. he pays for an interior designer and a stylist and a perfectly balanced meal delivery service. his mom manages his calendar. shane wants so badly to outsource control to someone else who can tell him how to be shane hollander. he does not have a fucking color coded spreadsheet
