The Limzard

Working on the Krill-themed capes. I am juggling between Krill themed pants and capes at the moment. I made a few concept sketches for the pants already.

Here for now are the colors, which I thought the cape could have ^^.

I created a spirit prototype for the season of twilight (a season made up by me for a college portfolio).

Let me introduce: The watering spirit. They like to keep a few snall dark plants as some kind of houseplant. They have a watering can. They like to water those plants and watch them grow. They don't know much about those plants, but are nonetheless fascinated by them and do their best to take care of them.

Idk, but I like the idea of perhaps being able to purchase or gain in other ways a watering can to water certain plants to get to certain areas without having to use your wings necessarily. Maybe to have to water certain plants in a group to support the group and friendship activity in the game. Maybe even to reach shiny bois.

Idk, but I imagine it being very cute, when the sky children rush to the water to fill up their water cans to water plants.

Or to use their light magic to water plants.

We burn down plants all the time, but what about watering them? What about a can, which can hold dark water to water dark plants. Helping them grow to gain more light out of them, when burning them down.

Maybe there can be a water can for everyone to water normal plants and a water can to hold dark water to water dark plants (second can as a purchase perhaps?).

I also thought of a dark plant leave cape....

So, I am working on a passion project linked to "Sky Children of Light" by "ThatGameCompany".

The game has its ups and downs, but I overall love it. So, I decided to create a theoretical season for the game. It's nothing that'll appear in the game, still I would like to work on it to have something for my portfolio.

So far, I have a few cape ideas. A basic idea of the lore behind that season. A season name and a few other cosmetic sketches, as well as spirit ideas.

I have a to-do list of things I still need to brainstorm and sketch about. Like what the season area could look like.

I will post the one or another sketch on here. Maybe even some finished concepts, as soon as I have done it.

The goal is to have a season, linked to the darkness in sky (krill, plants, crabs, Eden, Golden Wasteland,.....). But it still needs to have a connection with the light and mostly positivity portrayed in the game (children, every other single aspect of the game).

Overall, I am very hyped to work on it on paper and would like to take you with me on that journey. My plan is to upload once a week, how far I have come so far.

I am also doing it to make you cry about the fact, that this will never appear in the game (I am so evil, Muhahahahahahaha >:3).

I think that may be my scalesona. It's inspired by an armadillo lizard (very cute lizards).
