 Sebastian woke up groggy and sore. His neck was killing him and while he could not feel his feet touching any surface...he knew he was alive...he knew because his body was pulsating like someone had just shocked him. “What the fuck?” He thought to himself. Suddenly he couldn’t breathe and he was gasping for air.

Shea held a tight grip on Sebastian’s neck until he almost choked him. Of course, he knew that would defeat the purpose of bringing him here, but it felt so good to nearly crush his neck.

He noticed Sebastian finally came too and was trying to speak. He lightened his grip. A very raspy...”what the fuck” came from Sebastian’s lips. Shea threw him hard to the ground.

Sebastian hit the ground with a hard thud.

Sebastian: What the....where the fuck am I, what the hell are you!?!? He said nearly screaming

Shea just stood there staring, letting his hatred fester. He said nothing.

Sebastian’s sight was finally restored enough to fully see what stood before him. Although his mind still did not right register what was going on, his eyes did and, he got a terrible feeling in his stomach. Still weak from being choked he passed out there on the floor.

A little while later...

Crane: What happened?

Shea: It’s none of your concern, just know that you do not need to go abducting anyone else. You have a test subject right here.

Crane: That is obvious. Does he have the right trait? 

Shea: Yes. Crane. He has the right trait. I wouldn’t have brought him if he didn’t.

Crane: So it was mere happenstance that this human had the rare trait we were looking for huh...the SAME one that Iziaiah Milam had...Huh.....So, then where did he come from?

Shea: Look. It doesn’t matter where he came from. Just know he wont be missed, keep him as long as you want.

Crane: Alright. I will give him to Shae. I take it your going back then?

Shea: I can’t stay here. I have things I need to do.

Crane: Sure. More “research”. Fine. Leave him here. We will take care of it. Just know that your actions will reap consequences. The Elders will find out what you are doing in time. 

Shea mumbled under his breath, “Fuck you Crane”.

He went upstairs, leaving Crane in the empty hallway.

Crane was standing there watching Sebastian sleep for some time, when Shae appeared next to him.

Shae: When did we do an abduction?

Crane: Shea brought him.

Shae: Really? I didn’t see his ship come in.

Crane: Apparently he has mastered the ability to teleport his body through the wormhole....and by the looks of it...while carrying humans. That is very convenient. 

Shae: He IS talented Crane. You should expect nothing less....he IS the son Rafiel the Grand Maester.

(Rafiel the Grand Maester is the Head Elder of Sixam)

Crane: Too bad he wont stay here and do his job. He’s to busy getting distracted by humans. 

Shae: Well...these humans are...alluring. While I don’t agree, I understand seeing as I have pollinated the last 17 abductions. But this....this calls for something special. You remember that special experiment I was working on? I think this specimen may fit the criteria.

Crane: Well according to Shea this one does have the trait, whether or not that’s true I will leave that for you to figure out.

Shae licks her lips and sighs to herself, thinking. Then runs off to find Shea.

Finding him outside of the headquarters she calls after him.

Shae: Thank you for the new specimen! Shea! He is exquisite.

Shea turns around to see Shae standing right behind him.

Shea: Oh hey, you caught me as I was about to leave.

Shae: I am hoping I can get you to stay. I need help on this new specimen you brought in. Pretty impressive with the teleport. You take after your father.

Shea chuckles: You know I can’t stay. There’s so much more that needs to be done...and

Shae: And you have to get back to that human. Yeah.

Shea: Don’t do that. Look I know we....we were supposed to work on this together but. I can’t just leave her on her own.

Shae: Sure. 

Shea: Look Shae....I.

Shae interrupts him.  “It’s fine Shea. I understand. I was on earth once too remember? Its intoxicating. Plus...its the reason we don’t send ...... Shae trails off............No need to say anything else, I understand and I will talk to Crane. 

Shae neglected to tell Shea about her own research, or what she was planning to do with Sebastian. It was not like her to lie to Shea like that, but Crane was right. What Shea was doing would soon come to light, and she had a duty to perform. After a brief brain dump from Sebastian, she had all the info she needed.

Shea left for earth in a hurry. It had been 2 human days since Shea left earth with Sebastian, and he was eager to check on Sade.

Later that night,

They laid out under the stars for hours. Sade had gotten used to staying up with Shea to look at the stars. She wasn’t sure where he went for the 2 days, or why he had been so quiet tonight, but she was glad he was back. Strangely enough, Sabrina hadn’t seen Sebastian for the same amount of time, but they both decided that Sebastian had gone on another bender with his college buddies and would eventually resurface.

They laid there most of the night not speaking. After what felt like hours, finally Shea spoke softly.

Shea: I don’t want you to worry about Sebastian anymore okay? It’s dealt with.

Sade: What do you... Shea spoke over her. 

Shea: No need to know the details. Just know he won’t bother you again. 

Sade smiles at him gently. 

Sade: Okay, no questions.

Shea moved to position himself on top of her, his face close to hers.

Shea: There is one detail you should know though....

Sade: What is that?

Shea: Your single now..........I’m single....

Sade giggles. 

Sade: You’re right....we are....

Shea: Hmm.....you sure?

Not too long after Shea got back, he took Sade out to eat. Her finals were over and it had been a few weeks since his trip to Sixam. Even though Crane’s words bounced around the back of his mind he shoved those thoughts aside. He knew how sacred the ritual act was to the Elders…there was just…something special about Sade.

They had been spending a lot of time together, and Shea knew that Sade was still “technically” with Sebastian.

Shea: You look beautiful as always…How have you been feeling? 

Sade giggled

Sade: Good… having the quiet to focus on school really helped. I didn’t have any urges to pick up my bad habit again…but it’s still hard. I don’t know what I am going to do when Sebastian and Sabrina come back tomorrow.

Meanwhile at Sade’s apartment.

Masina carefully switches around a few wires.

Her superior handiness skill meant that she could “break” something enough that it looked like it failed on its own. Masina has owned this property for years through her parents trust fund and could easily build another in its place. The insurance money alone would be enough to fund her through retirement. 

No one knew Masina had this side to her, most definitely not Kimberly…who dated her all throughout high school. Masina had a personal vendetta…..after Kimberly married Iziaiah, all she could see was red, she was heartbroken…after years of waiting to be with Kim….after exchanging promise rings and vowing to be together forever…….. If Kimberly couldn’t be hers, she could be no ones….but she married Iziaiah before Masina got a chance to interfere. Plus, they were harboring that disgusting alien child. She wasn’t sure where he came from but but Iziaiah’s absence for those 3 months made Masina think there was something more sinister going on….and it made Masina hate Kimberly and her family even more. It was a mistake that she missed Sade. The teen was supposed to be home….but Sebastian and his sister Sabrina were an unwelcome distraction…..but now that Sade lived in HER property…well……..

The next day Sabrina came over. It was a bittersweet time for Sade because, although she was excited to see her best friend….that meant Sebastian was home. She really did not want to go through with her plan, she was scared and not sure…but knew it needed to be done. Sade hugged her friend, and they settled in her apartment.

Sade: Sorry you caught me I just started making lunch…I am making spaghetti do you want any?

Sabrina: No I am okay, I ate on my way over. Hogan’s Burger Bar has take out now…plus their milkshakes are fucking BOMB.

Sade: So what’s been going on? How was your trip?

Sabrina: OH IT WAS AMAZING. It was so lucky that brother scored those tickets to Italy. We saw so many amazing things….and I banged so many amazing Italian boys.

Sabrina: I mean… *clears throat*… courted. 

Sabrina and Sade fall into giggles. 

They spend the better part of 3 hours catching up. Sade loved the way Sabrina described her trip to Italy. The beautiful scenery, the amazing food…and the crazy antics that Sabrina managed to get herself into.

After Sabrina left. Sade felt a ball in the pit of her stomach. It was great that she got to see her best friend….but Sabrina had a blind spot when it came to her brother. Sade felt conflicted, confused and quite scared…. deep down she wanted to be with Shea. Feeling herself falling for him every time they spent moments together…she couldn’t help herself. There was something about him that felt familiar…but mysterious and expansive…and she was tired of the road she was going down with Sebastian…the drugs….the blanking out during sex…the empty feelings every time he left. She knew she needed more for herself and with only another semester left before graduation she knew she needed to turn her life around. 

Later that night…….

Sade played her guitar in her garage, she was so into her harmonies that she did not notice Sebastian standing in the doorway. He stood there drinking her in with his eyes. She was absolutely beautiful and he was happy with the molding and grooming he had done since she was 16. Even better that her parents were no longer an issue…he knew she was something special as soon as he met her at the bluffs. Who knew she would be willing to put out so easily? He had his hooks in her and couldn’t wait to sink them deeper. 

Sade saw Sebastian out of the corner of her eye and put her guitar down.

Sade: oh….Hi….I didn’t see you standing there.

Sebastian says nothing and walks up to her, kissing her passionately.

Sade didn’t pull away, but didn’t melt into his kiss like she used to. She was sober now and the feelings she had when his lips touched hers were not there. There was no rush like there was with Shea….so she reluctantly kissed him back. Sebastian didn’t notice, pulling her hips into his and groaning.

Sebastian: Ahh…..I missed you. 

Sade: How was your trip?

Sebastian: It was amazing…but could have been better with you…..I didn’t get to see your sexy…. Sade cut him off.

Sade: Look Sebastian….uhm….I can’t do this with you anymore. I mean…I.

Sebastian spoke loudly. What the fuck do you mean can’t do this?

Sade: Since you were gone….I’ve gotten clean….and my grades have gotten better….and I just…I’m happy Sebastian.

Sebastian grew angry quickly. What the fuck are you saying? I come back here to  spend time with you, I spend money on gifts for you and you tell me this!? What the fuck is this?

Sade: Sebastian…..I…I can’t do this with you anymore…there’s…

Sebastian cuts her off. There’s another guy isn’t there. WHO the fuck is it?! He can’t take you away from me, your mine and always will be.

Sebastian grabs Sade roughly by the arms.

Sebstian: You know what? I don’t care who the fuck he is because guess what. If any other dude so much LOOKS at you I am going to kill them. You understand me?

Sade shakes her head no, sobbing and whispers lightly. No Sebastian…I ca…

Not able to get the words out of her mouth Sebastian goes to shove Sade hard.

Suddenly, Shea appeared. There was something different about Shea and there was an intense pulsing in the air

Suddenly she felt a heavy force hit her body, she fell and slid across the floor blacking out across the room.

 Shea appeared before Sebastian grabbing his coat.

Shea said nothing, wrestling Sebastian to the ground.

Shea pressed his knee into Sebastian’s back, mumbling something under his breath….and in the next second…they were gone.

Shea lived in Oasis Springs, in a small trailer. He enjoyed the simple life and was content with the peace and quiet of the suburban neighborhood.

No one knew that Shea was an alien, and he certainly was not going to tell anyone. Although he held various jobs around the surrounding neighborhoods, he was in fact a brilliant scientist back on Sixam.

On assignment to study the human sims, Shea almost made it to ground undetected. Unfortunately, the military did intercept his ship and confiscated it as he managed to barely escape.

After crafting his disguise and continuing to rank highly in his job he was finally able to infiltrate that military base with his security clearance. He recovered the elements of his ship and start the building process. Of course this was all thanks to a few scientists working at Windenburg University and their gracious grant. 

Of course his Senior Tech back on Sixam did not know this but waited patiently for Shea to return with his research Intel.... what they didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them. So Shea built his ship, thankful for the time he had to work on it without interruption.

Although he missed Sade he often talked to her on the phone, continuing to encourage her to not give up in her finals. In the mean time, it was best that she focus on school since Sebastian was still out of country.

Shea took a bit of time to meditate before completing the final steps needed to upgrade the warp drive. Because he was not on Sixam he had to focus his abilities intensely to complete the delicate upgrade. 

He worked late into the night...

Upon completion Shea prepared for launch. He was looking forward to relaxing back on the home world for a bit.

The trip went smoothly and as Shea landed on Sixam, he was greeted by Senior Pollination Technician #3, also named Shae.

Shea forgot he was still wearing his human disguise, so saying nothing Shae initiated the secret handshake.

Shae: SHEA ITS YOU! 

Shea: Hi Shae. It’s been a long time....

Shae: You should probably take that disguise off before Crane see’s you. You know he hates seeing you like that.

Shea: Your right. I get so used to wearing it I forget I have it on.

*Shea remove’s his human disguise.*

Shea: Ahhhhhh, I wear that thing so much I forget.

Shae: That’s better. Welcome home. Shae smiles brightly, happy that her longtime friend was finally home. 

They caught up as they made the hike back to home base. 

Later that night:

A meeting was held between the Senior Staff, they needed an update on Shea’s research.

Crane: Welcome back Shea. Its’s good to see you.

Shea: Its good to be back Crane, is still beautiful as ever here.

Crane: Indeed. Have you decided to come back for good?

Shea: Not just yet. 

Shae: Oh Shea you always say that. Don’t you think that’s enough?

Shea: There is still more that needs to be done. It takes longer than a couple of human years for me to really dive into their lifestyles. Plus I have some news.

Crane, Crena and Shae all listen closely.

Shea: Experiment 5831.4 Iziaiah Milam, host for Senior Pollination Technician #7 code name Iggy has been compromised.  Iggy unfortunately was lost too....in fact our host his wife, Iggy and their biological child Kristina all died in an electrical fire. Shae, I know you really liked working on Iz when we abducted him.

Shae: Yes, he was exquisite.......quite fun that one...

Crane: Well that is unfortunate. We will just have to set up another abduction then, the Elders need there to be more Technicians on board. 

Shea: Well. There was a child that is still alive....Sade. She was the oldest of their children and....I have taken it upon myself to: 1. Protect her from whatever eliminated her family and most importantly our comrade Iggy....and 2. There’s something about...

Crane immediately interrupts Shea. Excuse us Crena and Shae. Crane takes Shea to the side.

Crane: You better not be saying what I think you’re saying.

Shea: I am saying exactly that. There is something about her....

Crane: You know we are not allowed to perform in the mating ritual with human females.  It is not in our customs for you to behave in this way. Is that what you have been doing all this time....”researching”!?!?

Shea: I have been working Crane, or else you wouldn’t see me back here giving you this fucking intel report. I do not care if its “against” our customs. I would behoove you to remember that Iz Milam was EXTREMELY important to the restructuring of the Mothership’s Technician Team....and I would THINK that because he is now dead for all intensive purposes that we should keep his last living heir in our sights. 

Crane: Yes but that doesn’t mean you fall in love with her! OR HAVE RELATIONS WITH HER. I swear. What if she falls pregnant!? You know the elders will never accept a baby birthed by a human mother. That's what you.....”researchers” on earth are into...and you know the Elders shun that behavior but you can’t help yourself can you. We never should have sent you.

Shea: I do not have time for this. I need to get back.

Crane: Do what you want. Keep it up. The elders wont let you come back next time....your so called research is a sham...what do we need to understand about them? 

Shea left without saying a word or saying good bye to Crena or Shae. He was done....he remembered why be volunteered for the research mission anyway. He was happy to get back to his life in Oasis Springs and hopefully with Sade. Screw the elders. All he had to do was deal with Sebastian...and find out who killed Iziaiah Milam and his family. 

Sade finally woke up around 10AM. Groggy and hungover, she made her way down to the living room for another pick me up.

She really hated that Sebastian got her on this shit, but she did not have the will power to stop. Especially since life has been so difficult since her family passing. Yeah she had grandparents and cousins, but she was never close to them....and their constant need to contact her made her shy away.

Around 9AM Sade’s landlord showed up. “Finally” she thought, and opened the door to meet her landlord.

M: Nice to meet you Sade, I am Masina.

S: Nice to meet you ma’m. Thanks for coming by this time and not just sending the handyman.

M: Well I thought it was time to finally meet you. 

S: Yes, thank you so much for allowing me to stay in this great place. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have it.

M: Well it was the least I could do. After your mother’s passing....

S: Wait you knew my mother?

M: Yes. We were best friends in high school and even dated for awhile.

S: MOM WAS GAY!?!

M: She was a beautiful person, I was heart broken...and I mean heart. broken. when she met your father.

S: OMGG!? Wow. 

M: Well. Yes. Tragic. You look just like her though.....

Masina, sizes Sade up. With a mixture of curiosity, longing and anger flashing across her face.

M: Anyway. I should get going. I will send someone to fix this circuit breaker. Be safe.

Later that afternoon....

After freshening up post nap, Sade decided to head out for a jam session.

Hoping to tap into some different night life she tried playing near the Tranquil Crescent Shoppes. Unfortunately, after a couple of hours, she had only made 15 bucks.

Moving locations, Sade found a bit more success in the Arts Market. There were a few workers still breaking down the recent Romance Festival.

 Sade ended up making enough to make her satisfied for the night after finding the Night Market...even though she had to compete with a nearby performer.

She had a bit of change to pay for entrance to the nearby Karaoke club. It hadn’t been 5 minutes when she felt a rush of warm energy take over her body.

Looking into the crowd she saw a dark mysterious man watching her.

She rush surged harder and she sang with all her heart, giving her best vocal performance of her life.

After the song was over, Sade made her over to the bar for a much needed drink. She felt that same energy rush when a handsome stranger sat next to her.

Shea: Good Evening, beautiful voice you have.

Sade: Oh thank you *blushes*

Sade’s heart was pounding and she wasn’t sure why. She did know that this stranger had this strange.....pull about him. Even though it was well past 12AM, 

About an hour into their conversation Sade felt that odd rush of energy again, only this time it was so intense that as she took her next breath, she found herself willingly in the bathroom with Shea....and he was doing something to her that she had never experienced before. The strange energy rush was intensified now almost pulsing.

Everything felt so easy to Sade. She was alert and aware and enjoying every bit of it.

With Sebastian completely out of her mind, Sade let herself completely go and let Shea take her to places that she had never known...and she was completely and utterly enthralled by it. 

By the time they were done it was morning and the janitors were knocking to clean the bathroom. Sade and Shea rushed out so quickly that Shea forgot his shirt.

Gotta figure out how to introduce Shea to Sade and it not be weird....

Likes: Being practical, mating with human sims, reading.

School has been a drag for the last few weeks, but she was doing the best she could. Although she was unable to bring her grades up past a C, her vocal and guitar skills improved immensely thanks to the help of her Music Teacher. Now in her afternoons, she traveled by train to San Myshuno to play her guitar.

At first she didn’t make much, and spent most of her time jamming in empty parks.

But after a few days of playing in the same location she started to attract a crowd (lmao why are they all wearing the same outfit though!)

That night she made 250$ in tips, which was way more than she had been making with her baby sitting gig.

That morning, Sade knew she had to make a decision about school....and Sebastian. While the heat of the water relaxed her body she became super focused on her potential future.

Deciding to play hooky that day, Sade called out of school sick and took off for San Myshuno.

It was a slow start, but a bit more active than when she gets there at night.

She got lost in the melodies of her guitar and completely lost track of time...and made 400$.

Later that night Sade invited Sebastian over...she needed to get a few things.

Never really being taught how to budget money, she spend 150 bucks on some of the newest stuff. Not without trying though, she used her hold over Sebastian to get a pretty good deal. 

She figured tonight was her first night of freedom...and she could do whatever the hell she wanted now.

The next day she went to the nearby bookstore to purchase books for her classes. 

She also managed to call her guidance counselor and get her job assignment. After the accident Sade really missed her younger siblings. Hopefully babysitting would help her get some closure.
