Emotional Wreck

What sort of style having you been going for with this album? Is it something new? I think I unintentionally have done what people consider the Disney knees thing cause I never actually thought about them. Demi is such an amazing person, though. If I could perform like her then I would be happy. Have you been doing more lessons? Cause there's nothing wrong in doing that - I still take lessons with my guitar playing.

it will be similar but i also want to branch out and show i have more sides to me. i think it just come natural for disney kids to do and not even think about it. sometimes i wish i was a disney kid because it seems fun and then i think of the pressure of it and think the opposite. it feels like most of you never got a childhood to feel like a kid. do you ever feel that way? she is and i was lucky enough to finally see her in concert. i still take lessons with the piano and usually use it to write my songs.

that's amazing. how're you feeling doing that? and if it's nervous at all, please know that's completely normal but you're going to kill it in whatever direction you go next. say less since i'm guilty of that always, too. are you headed there for shows or it's just a place for inspiration? thank you! it was perfect between the time out and on stage.

i'm excited for it and it's not a big stretch from what i'm doing now. just a few tweaks here and there to hopefully get more people to notice me. i think it's our duty as songwriters to write about our lives, the good and bad. i'm going to see a friend and catch up with her. i have a couple of festivals in a few weeks so getting in what socializing i can till i have to head out. i'm glad you had fun and saw they song 'happy birthday to you!'

right? it's actually insanity. i loved opening for you. i think it's because people are misunderstanding when i say i want to go on a headlining stadium tour, that i'm not happy with everything i've done up till this point. love sharing some of my knowledge from so many years in the industry. i've been good, babe. living it up! how about you?

i think so too and was glad you shut all that noise down on 'Call Her Daddy'. i just saw the interview and appreciated that because you know how crazy haters can be. i may be partying more then people think i should but i'm enjoying turning 23 and having some free time till i do the festivals at the end of the month

sometimes i think i'm a funny guy, who laughs at his own jokes, even when he knows they aren't funny. this is one of those situations - so, my daughter's ringtone is You Broke Me First but not because she broke my heart or anything like that. i tell her constantly that she breaks my wallet. so i thought the song would be funny. however, she does not agree and any time we're in the same place and she hears it go off, she tells me that i need to keep my day job cause i will never be a comedian. kids are tough, Tate. they will break you in so many ways and giggle the whole time. @limelighttate

i think a lot of us are like that and i love that her ringtone is one of my songs. isn't she a teenager? she's supposed to break your wallet. sorry but us girls have to stick together. they are both i would love to me a mom one day.

i was just kidding, babe. i love that you went to see her and support her. hope you had the best time dancing and screaming those lyrics at the top of your lungs. i'm just saying we should totally catch one of her shows together. i love the way you're thinking. i mean, some hot menorcans saving us from pretending we got lost ? best way to start a summer romance. how about the week after next ? i'm about to fly over to canada to visit a friend, but after that i'm all yours.

i have been so busy that i want to see as many people and do as many things as i can before i get back to work. i did and could barely talk by the end of the night from singing so loud. we do and looking at her schedule she'd doing brooklyn next month with a weeklong run. and i doubt anyone could find us there and time without a camera following my every move sounds nice. that works because i'm headed to ireland to see a friend and will be back then and ready for our trip.

I mean, I'm use to it because of how I look but damn. How're you Tate? You have been killing it lately. I have seen some tour videos.

i think you looked pretty normal to me. do you get a lot of people thinking differently? i'm good just resting right now before i do some festivals. my shows are high energy and i'm exhausted. thank you, i'm glad you liked them.

that's so great to hear. trust me, i know but once you get those few songs in, it's like the flood gates open and the process gets a little easier. get that balance in too while you can and who knows? maybe those trips and time with friends will be some song inspiration.

it's a lot different to the style i usually do. i'm working on doing a small rebranding but there' still some hate songs to me ex that will be on it. so far they have. i'm headed to ireland and going to try and not write while i'm there and just relax before i work some festivals. i hope you had a great birthday!
