bodyguard!draken who quickly learns just how bratty you can be. you ignore his safety protocols & constantly talk back to him with that playful little glint in your eyes. “so what are you gonna do about it? spank me?” you’d tease him shamelessly, knowing it gets under his skin every single time.
bodyguard!draken who starts following you around like a shadow. when you go shopping, he’s trailing behind you with half your purchases hanging off his arm. you’ve tried to escape him numerous times but he always finds you within minutes.
bodyguard!draken who is forced to take pictures for your social media every other day. as the spoiled daughter of an influential family, you have a certain public image to uphold & draken quickly learns that being your bodyguard apparently also includes taking candid pictures for your instagram feed.
bodyguard!draken who nearly chokes on his water when you casually tell him you’re thinking of getting a dragon tattoo similar to his but on your back, because you thought ‘it’ll look hot.’ he immediately starts lecturing you about how painful tattoos are, how long they take to heal & how you shouldn’t make impulsive decisions— all while trying to hide how flustered he is that you’re inspired by him.
bodyguard!draken who pretends he’s unaffected by your teasing until one day you decide to casually fix his tie for him before an important event. now suddenly this giant intimidating former delinquent goes completely still while looking at you like you’ve done something incredibly dangerous to his self-control.
and the worst part? you don’t even realize what you’re doing to him when you smooth your fingers over his chest while absentmindedly praising how handsome he looks. poor guy spends the rest of the evening avoiding direct eye contact with you.
bodyguard!draken who secretly loves taking you out on rides with his motorcycle despite your father strictly forbidding it. he always claims it’s faster than driving but really, he just likes the feeling of your arms wrapped tightly around his waist while your laughter mixes with the sound of the engine humming beneath the two of you.
bodyguard!draken who listens attentively whenever you complain about fake friends, exhausting social events, or the pressure that comes with your family name. most of the time he just sits there quietly, nodding along while you ramble, occasionally muttering things like “that sounds annoying as hell.”
bodyguard!draken who finally reaches his limit one night when you sneak out to a club without telling him. once he’s there, he finds you surrounded by a few drunk guys leaning far too close into your personal space, one of them even trying to sling an arm around your shoulder despite your clear discomfort. immediately, he grabs the guy by the collar & shoves him back hard enough to make him stumble against the nearby table before pulling you to his side.
“you seriously don’t get it, do you?” he growls at you later in the car, voice tight with frustration. “this isn’t me being overprotective for fun. if something happened to you…” he cuts himself off, dragging a hand down his face as his jaw clenches. you’ve never seen him look this serious before.
bodyguard!draken who, after that night, becomes even more protective than before. he starts taking you everywhere himself & even waits outside your pilates classes every morning. it doesn’t matter how early the class starts or how long he has to sit outside the studio waiting for you afterwards, draken absolutely refuses to let you go anywhere alone anymore.

I just love the idea of Rotxo being immediately head over heels for her, he’s so determined to court her he tries everything in his book to prove himself a worthy partner! Cue heaps of Metkayina courting attempts.
But poor Kiri has so much obviously on her mind she’s either completely unaware or doesn’t know how to react — maybe we can throw in some angst and say her uncertainty is her insecurity about whether she’s proper Na’vi or not! Maybe she doesn’t think she’ll be able to provide what he wants in a relationship with her, because she knows she’s not ‘normal’ and can do things others can’t 👀
So she thinks Rotxo has this fantasy of them growing old, all lovey dovey on the reef when she’s already lost hope of ever having a relaxing life after Quaritch came back into the picture. So Rotxo pursuing her makes her sad because she doesn’t think she’ll be able to provide that safe normalcy for him 😭
In reality Rotxo doesn’t want a normal life, he just wants Kiri 🥺
I like to think Metkayina courting is him spending extra time with Tuk, subtly showing her he can take care of her family. Or maybe hunting rare fish to cook for her after she goes through another seizure? Bringing her meals to show he can provide food. Maybe if she eats the food he thinks it’s a sign she’s interested too when in reality she was just hungry and doesn’t understand Metkayina courting rituals nskjsj
Rotxo totally lives in an all female family I feel this to my core, so he cooks her meals based on what the women in his family enjoy best.
Apparently Tonowari likes Rotxo around Aonung because he’s a good influence bahah, I take that as meaning Rotxo doesn’t seek out conflict. So it’d be interesting if he starts acting out more when Kiri comes into the picture, which is very unlike him, so the whole tribe notices quick.
Imagine Rotxo asking for Neytiri’s approval, only to find out Kiri’s birth mother is actually in a tank in the Omatikaya forest, and so he goes out of his way to meet Grace and speak to her regardless of him being out of his element and in dangerous territory. It’s tradition, so he takes it very seriously.
I just love the idea that Kiri is just this special spirit whisperer that attracts all these gentle creatures and Rotxo is one of them 😭

Well, I've done this drawing for about the third time, and I liked this result better, so it's staying (even though Vicky's red bow is missing).
Right now, I'm a little obsessed with doing all sorts of Valentine's Day stuff. Idk, I think I was annoyed that I didn't finish it on time, lol.
Now, about them, I'm not going to say much here, just that they have a complex romantic situation, but it's something romantic (I have a lot to explain, but that would be a huge spoiler).
Anyone can ask Draken for a condom/menstrual product if they want he doesn't make you pay him for them but if you're easily embarrassed you have to be fucking careful when you ask him for these things because if you do it in a room full of people he does not care at all he'll ask what size you wear in front of the entire class and start pulling shit out of his pockets and making an impromptu shop display on the nearest desk while the teacher is watching. If anyone tries to stop him at all he'll start shit "you want him to hit it raw? Get a girl pregnant??" Or "You want her to bleed on the schools fucking desk chairs?" "You don't? Then shut the fuck up and let them pick one." You have to wait for him to be alone if all of Tokyo knowing you fuck/are on your period or him getting into a fight with a teacher bothers you at all.
Oh he would definitely do this too! Draken doesn't see anything embarrassing about it so he doesn't understand why other's are embarrassed or feel the need to whisper about these things. He isn't loud maliciously he just doesn't get why he should be quiet about it.
