It was a well acted monologue, but ... I honestly have no idea about Alys anymore. I'm not sure what she's doing or who she is and this reveal doesn't seem to fit with what she was doing last season but then nothing in season 3 does so fuck it I guess... If Aemond was going to call himself a kinslayer Luke SHOULD have been mentioned there. But I guess he only feels guilty about Aegon... but that's against what they showed earlier where he said he regrated losing control and he knows that's why his nephew got killed so... like we could have had him confess that the assassins were after him for Luke but I guess they couldn't have had Aegon forgive him then? But how the fuck are they having Aegon forgive him? ... ??? I honestly wasn't trying to make it make sense. They aren't interesting to me so I didn't care. They are rushing to the end and it's showing. The first season set up a lot of problems with it's time jumps and not letting us get to know the characters... and then by making Rhaenyra forgive Luke's murder... and Alicent forgive Jaehaerys... and it's spiraled from the tension it all should have had. There are moment in the show you can see the greatness of what could have been. Aemond's Harrenhal arc is not one of them.

Come off anon if you are a real person who is ND and who loved Helaena and we can talk about why I think you are supporting something regressive, infantilizing, that also had the gall to romantize her suffering and death.
