tf are they doing with Alys and Aemond? She can shapeshift and summon magical creatures or animals to shoo unwanted guests. But suddenly, she's an 100% damsel in distress and Aemond - mind you - her canon rapist- saves her from assaulters? Is it manipulation tactic? Or they're turning alysmond into epic romance?

To be fair she couldn't get a flock of bats to go after the Ironborn in the day time. This will be the end of me being fair. They are going for epic romance... of course him calling her mommy already happened (I can't exactly throw stones but... no thanks). They've thrown what character they gave her in season 2 away for this, she was upset when peasants were getting hurt in the war efforts, and now she's cuddling with Aemond, guy who lights multiple towns full of peasants on fire when he had a bad day? She wants Harrenhall, knows Rhaenyra promised it to whoever gave her Aemond's head and literally could take Aemond's head? But she doesn't believe she will because Daemon... was actually a good friend to her and told her the truth about her situation? Sure guys. Alys season 2 and Alys season 3 are distinct entities. Season 3 version sucks.

I'm gonna cheer so loud when Helaena finally jumps off that window, the writers didn't know what to with her character this season so we have to watch many pointless scenes of her picking bugs and having picnic omg there is a WAR going on 😭

I'm not going to cheer but I think I will be relieved. This episode she showed *some* autonomy, but then went right back to following her mother around believing her about getting her daughter when... she knew she was lying before? I don't even know... I just want her plot line to be over so I can stop feeling personally insulted while people post "protect Helaena" shit on every tag... Like, I am an ND woman and I feel personally insulted by her, can I just look at gifs of dragons in peace? Can you give me an ounce of the respect you are demanding for a fictional character? ... no wonder I have a block list 8 miles long... I have no patience for this anymore.

Your thoughts on Jaehaera Targaryen?

My opinion is her fans are so annoying (I didn't even expect she has fans), just another blank slate of a character that people can self-insert to

That would involve thinking about Jaehaera Targaryen which I rarely do. I guess if made to think about her she's a little kid. She didn't do anything wrong, she didn't make any choices- she's just ... sad. It sucks, but a lot of people who didn't do anything wrong in the story die, I can't have a big emotional reaction to all of them. She's going to get killed by one of her dad's supporters and I think that is a narratively apt end. It fits the theme of the story so I'm... fine with it going down like that?

People who want to change her end and have her and Aegon III end up together are people who want a neutral ending. Both sides have suffered and must come together for the future and that works if the story was neutral. The story isn't neutral though, George does think one side was more correct than the other and that is Rhaenyra's side. Aegon's side being entirely made up of a misogynistic view and self promoting oath breakers is why they are the worse side, and why Jaehaera is not the mother of the future dynasties. Sad for Jaehaera, right for what the story has to say.

Beyond that? Her and Aegon III would never be able to be happy together. Both sides were mourning the people who killed the other. It was never going to be two broken people finding peace together. Daenaera Velaryon was a happy girl who gave Aegon some hope and her youth allowed him to put off producing an heir until he was able to get out of the power of his regents, most likely sparing his life. He ended up with the right queen. That's all the thoughts I have about Jaehaera. Oh! Morghul is a cool name for a dragon. That's it.
