i know it’s more likely that annabeth saw percy 1v3 the ares cabin w ease in the bathroom AND once he was near the lake and was like “hmm poseidon kid maybe?” but it’d be funnier if her thought process was “i can’t get him in the sky to prove he’s a zeus kid so pushing him in this lake will have to do. surely poseidon will drown him on site if so”

I love the idea that Annabeth's plan was just to keep throwing shit at Percy until something happened. A true scientist
