The aftermath is equally heartbreaking. Everyone is so quick to blame and judge Aaron and Hazel. The poor things haven't even had a chance to grieve Jackson's death... I just want to hug them both 💔

And I must say, after seeing all of this and how much Aaron suffered, I think anyone who used Jackson's death with the intention of hurting Aaron deserved the response they got from him. This includes Robert (2015) and Liv (2020). Robert had to work incredibly hard to regain Aaron's favor, and Liv was kicked out of the house for a night or more (I don't remember exactly).

Let's not forget that Aaron was only 19 when he had to help his boyfriend die; it's a very traumatic experience for a teenager (for everyone, actually), and a process he went through alone without any support, since they couldn't tell anyone. So, in my opinion, anyone who uses Jackson's death as a weapon to hurt Aaron will sink to the lowest possible level (it's on the same level as using Gordon).

People, you have no idea how incredibly lucky you are to even have your favorite couple back in 2026. Believe me, that's something that very rarely happens after one or both of them leave, no matter how popular the couple was. I say this as someone who comes from Hollyoaks and has seen how McDean fans waited for almost a decade for the return of something that never happened and never will. The same goes for Stendan fans.

Soap operas, in general, are in a state of decline (those in my country too), it's not exclusive to Emmerdale and Robron, so I recommend enjoying what's on, supporting the actors and Robron, and changing visceral criticism for suggestions or at least for constructive criticism, always showing positive support for the couple, so that this reunion lasts as long as possible, because just as they got back together, one or both of them can leave again and this time, probably, it would be for ever.

This was, in my opinion, the greatest display of laziness from the writers and directors with the character. Aaron's relationship with Ben was supposed to be deep and meaningful, which is why they were given a shared past to overcome and why Aaron was so affected by Ben's death. The problem is that I never saw any depth in their relationship; all their scenes are flat, dry, and lifeless, making it impossible to feel Aaron's sadness at the end. It's a shame because it could have been a very good exit storyline for Aaron, but it was all very lame.

For the record, I wasn't expecting kisses and hugs, since I know this storyline was made during COVID, and for that reason, I was hoping to see good conflict scenes, because these allow the characters to unleash their emotions. We saw it in Aaron's past relationships with Jackson, and especially with Robert. Furthermore, there was a perfect situation when Liv ruins Ben's golden job opportunity; at that moment, I was expecting to see something like this:

However, in the case of Aaron and Ben, we got nothing, just a few curt words and that's it, as if it wasn't something that should have led to a heated discussion where we could see the best of both actors... and that was very disappointing, I really understand why Danny took a break.

Anyway, I'm glad Danny's back and then Ryan, so we can have some good, passionate scenes again. I really hope they never write Aaron as poorly as they did in 2020-2021, fingers crossed (Aaron became my favorite character on this soap, so I'm totally biased, lol).

And this particular scene is one of my favorites, you can tell that poor Aaron is the youngest in the group, Cain and Ryan also enjoy teasing him from time to time.

I totally understand why Danny Miller left two years after Ryan. The script for Aaron from mid-2020 onward was atrocious; all Aaron did was fight with Liv 90% of the time and have that dry pseudo relationship with Ben, culminating in a super lazy exit storyline... I mean, Aaron abandoning Liv in prision? Really? I think Emmerdale was lucky Danny agreed to come back after that ridiculousness, lol.

Anyway, enough nonsense, let's get back to Aaron and Jackson's storyline before I start with my Robron 2.0 watch.
