The question is, will Emmerdale ever let Robert know the truth? Right now, I doubt it, since the intention seems to be forcing Kev into the story and making all the other characters have selective, short-term memory, but who knows what will happen in the future. Personally, I think Robert should find out, and the writers should let him live through his anger and disappointment, and give Kev a proper redemption where, after some time and many apologies, he earns Robert's forgiveness (and his place in the Village). This could happen if the producers/writers stopped trying to force things and went back to letting them evolve organically. We'll see what happens.

There are so many possibilities to get good storylines from this... for example, to start with Robron 2027, I imagine something like this: Aaron and Robert got married for the third time, and on New Year’s Eve, with just the two of them, Robert asks Aaron what his resolutions for the next year are, and then Aaron says he’d like to try having a child of their own through surrogacy again, which surprises Robert and also leaves him with an internal conflict, because he was just going to tell Aaron that his resolution for 2027 was to get Seb back, and he doesn’t think they can do both things at the same time.

Also, it made me miss Aaron and Adam's friendship so much. These two were like real brothers, supporting each other through their worst times until the end. Just beautiful.

Since I started watching Robron's story first, I hadn’t seen when and why Aaron started self-harming, now I did it, and I can see the parallel with the 2017 one is very clear. That’s why I made a video compilation of both stories (2011 and 2017), two times Aaron hurts himself as a way to escape deep pain, and two of the people who love him the most, and he loves the most, find out: His mom and his husband. The scenes of Chas and Robert realizing that Aaron was hurting himself are just as heartbreaking.

The aftermath is equally heartbreaking. Everyone is so quick to blame and judge Aaron and Hazel. The poor things haven't even had a chance to grieve Jackson's death... I just want to hug them both 💔

And I must say, after seeing all of this and how much Aaron suffered, I think anyone who used Jackson's death with the intention of hurting Aaron deserved the response they got from him. This includes Robert (2015) and Liv (2020). Robert had to work incredibly hard to regain Aaron's favor, and Liv was kicked out of the house for a night or more (I don't remember exactly).

Let's not forget that Aaron was only 19 when he had to help his boyfriend die; it's a very traumatic experience for a teenager (for everyone, actually), and a process he went through alone without any support, since they couldn't tell anyone. So, in my opinion, anyone who uses Jackson's death as a weapon to hurt Aaron will sink to the lowest possible level (it's on the same level as using Gordon).

People, you have no idea how incredibly lucky you are to even have your favorite couple back in 2026. Believe me, that's something that very rarely happens after one or both of them leave, no matter how popular the couple was. I say this as someone who comes from Hollyoaks and has seen how McDean fans waited for almost a decade for the return of something that never happened and never will. The same goes for Stendan fans.

Soap operas, in general, are in a state of decline (those in my country too), it's not exclusive to Emmerdale and Robron, so I recommend enjoying what's on, supporting the actors and Robron, and changing visceral criticism for suggestions or at least for constructive criticism, always showing positive support for the couple, so that this reunion lasts as long as possible, because just as they got back together, one or both of them can leave again and this time, probably, it would be for ever.
