I'm collating a separate post for the top scenes, but for Cain I just had to make this point separately.
Cain is (unsurprisingly) top of scenes this year on 417. This is shocking. Cain had a total of 495 scenes in the entire year of 2025, and he was one of the top 5 of that year anyway. Especially as we've now gone down to 5 eps a week, this is an insane number.

I'm just catching up on some of the Emmerdale episodes I've missed.
Even though I don't like the whole Cain/Monty "I'm so miserable" story is annoying, I actually like Cains conversations with Kyle. Maybe we'll get Jack/Robert 2026 - with a better ending? I'd like that.
I still feel sorry for Mack. He has to be the strong one and is suffering himself. And I really like how Vanessa is the devil on his shoulder. Someone has to be - since Aaron once again isn't allowed to be there.
Speaking of which: Where are our boys again? Busy working? Or visiting Vic again? They're off screen so much, it's really starting to upset me.

I kinda can’t believe this whole plot where cain can’t fuck is still being given so much screen time. Like literally more screen time has been given to this than the aftermath of John. I know more about how Moira feels about cains dick issues than I do Aaron’s feelings about being in an abusive relationship for a year.
also, emmerdale, have you never heard of cunnilingus? just because cains dick doesn’t work doesn’t mean he can’t go down on his wife ffs.
we had this issue with Kev and Robert too where they acted like impotence means you can’t still sexually please your partner. Ik emmerdale viewership skews old but I’m pretty sure my nan knows what fingering is.
This is going to offend someone I am sure, but it is what it is at this point. Emmerdale in the year 2026 are killing off a dog in order to give Cain his 75th moment of clarity in the same storyline and are also killing off one of it's longest running actors because the show literally wants Kev to get his dick stroked. This is where we are. It's wildly depressing and mind-bogglingly stupid. And that's not even touching the gross insanity of what the Charity storyline is basically telling their audience now. Horrific choices being made daily.
