Sherlock S5 should start with John in his therapists office again and her saying "the things you wanted to say but didnt say it... say it now." and john responding "Yeah, look i'm getting to it* and then we follow their cases with the overlying plot of John working up the courage to ask sherlock out and the moment we least expect it it would instead be sherlock who confessed.

My favorite part of sherlock holmes is how holmes refers to all their previous cases using the cute lil names watson gave them. Hes constantly like "watson i hate your fucking accounts of my work, youre ruining my art" and then he uses watson's names anyway <3
