I Want To Be Happy Now...

From catfishing allegations when her intro photos were dropped, to the KC of it all, to her hair, to her voice, to her being a bad friend to Melanie because she wants to be sincere, to her being a colorist, to her not liking Carl, to Carl not liking her.

1. El and Hop have been isolated all season. Lowkey most of the cast has been.

2. El hardly interacted with any of her friends; her reunion with her best friend was an email!! after literally watching her die, and she was so overwhelmed that she restarted her heart. But they couldn’t make room for them to embrace each other or say more than two words to each other?

3. I love Mama Wheeler - but she was literally a day out of surgery. They should have used that moment for El, Mike, and Hopper to get some action and take those demo dogs out.

3b. I think El should have to come to the self-sacrifice conclusion on her own, and it should have been solidified with Kali. 

- Give her moments of hope and internal conflict. Imagine her feeling confidence and hopefulness after Max’s return and her convo with Mike. Only for that joy to be ripped from her again by the harsh truths from Kali and the intro of the death pact.

4. I really wish Will came out to just his closest family and friends. It would have been more impactful, and Vecna still wouldn’t be able to use it against him again.

5. Where is the emotional weight Mike was supposed to be carrying? I know Finn could’ve handled it.

6. We should have gotten Henry’s full back story before the finale.

7. The screen time for the new kids should have been more limited and given us more time with the characters we started this journey with, or made the episodes a bit longer.

8. I’m going to be so depressed if the show ends and we don’t see El share a moment with the boys.
