No but seriously, I love that idea. Frank so far seems to be the only one trying to keep tabs on his friends’ conditions after witnessing them go through something. I can’t imagine how much stress it’s all going to put on them if they don’t die or something (･_･; (Barnaby would be so taken aback. At a loss of what to do besides what he does best 😭)

I could see Barnaby making a crack about how Frank is “finally coming around to enjoying a proper comedian’s work” before realizing there’s an actual problem sitting in front of him. Because despite it all, Frank and Barnaby are friends.

Omg I saw your ask a long time ago 😭, but I wanted to finish the sketches I thought of for it! (This is only a few!)

As I was making these, I thought up an angsty thing (the Julie and Frank scribble in green) since the au isn’t set in stone about how Frank goes about being a rainbow monster. How would a conversation between Frank and Julie go if Frank isn’t able to talk to plants?

[frustrated] “Can I even call myself a rainbow monster if I can’t even talk to a blade of grass?”

“Why won’t they talk to me Julie? Is it… is it me?
