The armor thing in the Odyssey movie is kinda whatever. It would be cool to see creative things done with what we find in the archaeological record but it is a fantasy movie and the story has been reinterpreted so much it's not like it's unique or anything. The really really important pertinent question is Does Odysseus Have His Funny Little Hat?

exactly its like initially when just the promos were coming out i was really put off by it but after some reflection its really not a huge deal, the entire conception of what this story is is not "authentic" in whatever way you want to define that. Im not even saying that as a detractor cause I guess the movie does alot of other really interesting things.
