It’s really funny how my medical school preaches the importance of taking steps to improve/maintain one’s mental health…

Then they turn around and mandate things that essentially counteract those ideals or when you take those steps to prevent a downward spiral, in the end it will end up hurting you academically/professionally.

This system is so broken… it feels like they’re trying to tear us down from the foundation and build us into jaded, sleep deprived, assholes that are teetering on the edge of a complete breakdown.
