Who other than Viago to handle a brainwashed Crow Rook? They have such a complex bond, as deep as it is bitter, their fight had to reflect it somehow, even if Abel is no longer in control of himself. Also, I should add that despite the Venatori's grip on his mind, Rook remains aware of his actions. He knows what he's doing, but he can't stop it. Lucanis, come get your man, he's about to kill his only father figure :-(
