preset sets, props, costumes backstage.

fly in/out masking when safe.

prep backstage.

confirm safety checks and calls.

page curtains.

After rehearsal ends at 10pm and you don’t finish with everything else until 10:45pm at best and it’s a large cast of 30 actors plus directors, choreographers, and accompanist, not to mention producers and production that need to know the rehearsal schedule, then no - you tell the cast of 30 at the first rehearsal to check their email every day and open every email. Not only will it likely have their personal call time for rehearsal, but for fittings, promotional events, and other production info they need to read.

Plus, if a director sees that an actor is late, the first thing he’s going to ask me is, “Did you email him his call?” to which I’ll say yes. His next question to me isn’t going to be, “Didn’t you also call and text him his call?” It’s going to be for the actor asking him, “Why didn’t you check your email?”
