Ok this will likely be a long one but I need to get it off my chest. I absolutely HATE the idea of wool stairs and slabs in minecraft. I feel like an element of the game is removed by this feature. In the past I've been excited for the addition of any new stone of wood variants in minecraft, mainly because it means new stairs and slabs in a unique colour. I know that the idea of Mojang slowly dropping these blocks may be very unappealing to some as it seems the current fan base doesn't want minecraft to be a live service game with blocks being slowly added for years on end but I can't be the only one who thinks that having to explore new biomes to find new slabs and stairs in new and unique colours is an interesting concept. I don't want to be able to craft red or yellow slabs 2 seconds after spawning into a new world, I want to search for a sulphur cave or mangrove swamp. I brought this up with one of my friends and they told me that I could just not use the new blocks but in my mind that's not how it works, building in minecraft should be treated just like combat or progression, if you can craft blocks like these this easily then it doesn't matter if you use them or not because the fact is the blocks are in the game. It feels the same as if you played minecraft with a data pack that makes a wooden sword the best weapon in the game, even if you never craft a wooden sword you still know it's in the game. I understand that these blocks like pale oak wood and sulphur blocks are still unique textures and people will still seek them out but in the back of my mind I still feel like these new blocks devalue these blocks. To be honest I feel like if they made the blocks creative exclusive I be fine with it. This isn't elusive to the wool blocks aswell. THE WHOLE UPDATE IS LIKE THIS. To a much lesser extent I'll admit, but the new autumn biome is just disappointing in my mind. Just before this update was announced I was playing bugrock edition with my friends on a realm. I was working on a resource pack to add some things we've been wanting in the game, one of my friends asked for purple slabs and stairs so I started work on adding a way to do it by adding something like amethyst bricks, my other friend asked for brown leaves so I made brown leaf blocks craftable with leaf litter, then when the update was announced I lost all interest with the addon and I gave up on it. What's the point in trying to find unique ways of adding these coloured blocks if Mojang isn't even finding unique ways to add these blocks. I remember when the copper grate was added and people where using the block to make brown trees. This creativity may never be reached anymore if Mojang is just going to add stuff in the most simple and obvious way.

I love living in walses because when people ask me what part of England im from I get to spout out my 2 fun facts which are that a shop sold cans of beans for -2p and also that their is a man in a gimp suit that wonders the streets like big foot.

The whole "take me to your leader" shtick that aliens do in media actually makes a lot of sense if that alien can't properly distinguish a human adult from a human child. If you see a child on their own and they start talking to you, one of the first things you'd likely say is, "Where are your parents?" If aliens had the capability to speak human language, they probably wouldn't use the word parent as adoption is a simple concept that the alien probably knows about. "Leader" is a much better word than "Gardian," to be honest, as it doesn't have the same connotations.

When I was younger I was really confused on why everyone was talking about this band I'd never heard of called 'Ed Miller Band' like 'J Giles Band', turns out they where on about Ed Miliband and I was very upset because I really wanted to listen to their music :(

Bro, why are people so stupid when it comes to trying to miss use spells in D&D. My biggest annoyance is when people think that a spell allowing you to push an enemy a certain distance means they can push the enemy that distance into the sky to have them take damage through falling. If in your mind pushing something up into the air is the same thing as pushing something on the ground, then why would falling even do damage in the first place. They seem to forget that gravity exists only to remember again when it benefits them.
