This isn't technically for celebrating the 10th anniversary of the DSOD, but still intends to carry the vibe. This february, I got myself a pair of official acrylic standees of Atem and Kaiba. They gave me a churning inspiration for this work. The way they were facing the same general direction...🥹 it looked like they were confronting opponent(s) together as a team.
It would've been part of what Kaiba had been dreaming of by the time the Battle City tournament was concluded. He finally admits that Atem is the one he can grow and thrive further together with, not knowing that Atem would leave this world that early...
